All of my lumby swamp miners will mine a full inventory of coal then walk back to draynor bank and just look at each piece of coal before logging out.I've tried setting to hybrid and reflection and both have the same outcome. Wtf this new update is so bad!

We're looking into the problem, and hopefully we'll be able to fix whatever is causing this pretty soon…

You're welcome for providing COMPLETELY FREE scripts for you to use. This thread honestly makes me debate whether it's even worth it to update. It's people like you who ruin the whole experience for us developers.

Also, don't PM me if you're just going to make a thread. If there's a thread, I'll see it.

I've also probably said this about 5000 times, and I'm pretty sure I've said it to you before. POST THE DEBUG! We can't see exactly what's wrong when you just say the problem. MSI is HUGE, there could be a hundred different reasons for your issue.

Just so you know, when there's new releases, there's bound to be new bugs. Try learning something about SVN, and you'll be able to revert back to whichever revision was working best for you, at least until we can solve some of these bugs.

Have fun not using MSI for the next couple days, unless someone else fixes this, because I'm sure as hell not. Yes, you really pissed me off. I'll be back home on Sunday to take a look, unless you can provide some more information.

That is all.

thats not a good idea. this new update is promising . and as always, the devs will work very hard on it. which is what makes this community so nice, the people that run it show extreme dedication. and you should show some appreciation. not be incredibly mad at the fact that ur bot wont run for a day, possibly 2. besides, there is no reason to be mad. espeically when u cant do anything yourself to fix it. it takes patience sir.

Thank you to all the devs and people that work on MSI/other scripts. keep up the good work. i hope to be scripting soon enough too.. its just so.. hard :P but, im trying.

Why not make all the scripts Juniors only? That would stop people like this guy.

P.S. How come we don't have junior members anymore?

Coh3n

2011-02-04 02:33:15

Okay guys, leave him alone. Although you may be right in some respects, he's also right. I shouldn't have released an update before testing it more. I thought I had tested it enough, but obviously I missed certain scenarios; although, I'm almost positive I tested a full load. I'm not sure what was changed to mess things up, but it will be fixed soon. just be patient.

Hm, interesting post coming from someone who joined a few months ago…

There's still a Jr. Members rank, there's just no Jr. Member's forum anymore. I don't remember exactly why we made this change. I'm pretty sure it was long before I was a mod.

very true, wouldnt expect seeing a non jr member say this.
however, he has earned the rank. couple months old and 500 posts.
good work kingkong.
welcome to the community.
i plan on being as active as you since i am just coming back and actually being a part of the community this time (:

but yes i think we should bring jr mems back, with higher requirements than 10 posts. perhaps 100-200?

I'm not positive of what the requirements are now, but I know it's a longer time and a lot more posts than 10. Since it's been suggested I can discuss bringing a Jr. Member's forum back with the other staff, but there's no guarantees.

Thats because Imo this is one of the best(ratio of the number of people who want to helpnumber of active members) forums ive seen in a looong looong time and it would be a terrible terrible thing if this was to change due to newcomers :(

I was going to say increase the post count as wel :), but you beat me to it.

So little girl how is my join date that funny? I really dont care if I dont belong in this community lol…I would never waste my precious life learning to script for runescape, I'd rather have my slaves (you) make them for me. Your obviously very mad but I understand that as these forums are your life at the moment.
By the way nice iron miner :D

Well, that's one way of getting rid of newcomers. I didn't find the posts by this guy particularly offensive and I've had heaps of those on my scripts threads. Ever seen me start some sort of counter attack because these people were frustrated that the script no longer works? He's actively joining in the community, and you guys are just giving him shit.

Granted, the thread title is a bit offensive.

Closed for being a flamewar.
To OP/others with this problem: Please word your criticisms like you're older than 12 years old and you're welcome to open a new thread with the constructive criticism. But I don't want people screaming like a bunch of toddlers at this forum.

Example:
The new hybrid update causes a lot of problems for me. It causes my players not to bank anymore. The debug box says: { Reason: Failed to deposit items
Could you please revert it or otherwise fix it?

Wow guys, this new member is actually correct. Granted he was a bit rude, but he probably spent hours and hours setting up this stuff, getting all excited, moving his army, to find it doesnt work. Of course a bit of rage is expected.

Spot on. Don't scare away the new members who are actively using your scripts and contributing proper feedback, thats just stupid…if krayzie420 didnt post about this I wonder how long it would of gone until someone else found it, it could of been weeks. At least now you know your script doesnt work.
