How come mining and smithing go up sooooo slowly? I was in the mining guild yesterday for an hour and I think I got about 10k exp and smithing goes up even slower.
I'm not too bothered about mining now though but my smithing is around level 54, does anyone know a fast way to increase it (that won't lose me too much money) and I'm willing to buy members.

Buying coal and iron and smelting into steel bars actually earned money a few days ago. I'm not sure about after the update though.

depends how much money you wanna spend iron bars seem the cheapest to smith if you wanna buy. i used ti buy iron and coal and make steel bars. its slow or in members can make arrow tips that used to lose little amount of money

I might try smithing steel bars then, I seem to remember that doesn't lose you much money as well. Thanks people :)
