Hopefully this increased activity on RS will translate to increase activity on SRL. Not really a discussion, more like I was just pointing out.

SRL needs more publicity on websites like YouTube and such. Videos of the scripts with titles and tags that are commonly searched for. Even tags like "RuneScape hacks" and etc. This will really get us to have more activity due to the new update.

Do we really want poeple here that where searching for hacks?

Look at those reseller websites like RSBot.com, RSBots.net and etc. They all have tags such as that make them appear near the top of Google results. Resulting in them having more attention. When people search for "Hacks", they are searching for bots / easy ways to make gold or earn experience. Not literal "Hacks."

yea some sharing the word of srl awesome would be nice. I believe that we are 'safer' from being shut down or sued by any major people or jagex because we are semi closed and don't push rs haxors or scripts. kindof like "anything you use here is on your own accord and we are not responsible how you use it."… just a mid though in class.

I like the SRL community as it is. I like the way the forums are. I like the way our scripts are free. It feels like so much more of a community when you go through the forums than RSbot/powerbot. I like being the one bot that is running a different script than all of the others who are running the same RSbot/powerbot script. I don't think SRL needs any more publicity.

Well, we have been discussion changes to our metawords and I quite literally just changed to our updated/improved list :)

@ Monkeybeer : The forums are not that active, to be honest with you and more attention would bring more activity and new talent to the forums. Which would be very good.

And the kind atmosphere of the community would definitely not change. There may be more tension amongst users, but that would be between them. It wouldn't have to be brought in to the forums itself. It could be handled in PMs, MSN or even Ventrilo if they truly desire.

Nothing else would truly change except more talent, more scripts and more people to converse with. So you wouldn't really have to worry if we get more attention on the forums.

@ Hobbit : What is the current list of meta words? If you are able to share it with us.

Pretty much anything and everything to do with SRL and rs. So if you type anything about botting, wanting higher levels, more gold, learn programming, etc etc. Our meta words will match

I hope this increases the site traffic of not only this site, but the other cheating/client hacking sites as well. Mitb is pretty dead at times.

If we have hack and someone searches hacks it will still pick it up. Thats why we put in the word auto once then the names of the skill so if someone searched "Autofighter" it would be picked up because we have "auto" and "fighter" in the list.


Added what inst crossed out, except for the k/h, going to have to check on that make sure / doesn't screw it up.

(crossed = we have equivalent in already)
ex: smart -> smarter, safe -> safer

But he doesn't say why only that many and he is also talking page specific. We don't have that options, our setting is global for the entire forum, shouldn't that make a difference?
