Just to inform everybody, Ogre had a situation with Naike earlier today over not receiving payment after the pin was given.

Wait before jumping to conclusions… Lets wait till Ogre posts.

I wasn't jumping to conclusions in the least. I didn't point fingers and say "SCAMMER". I was making the people aware that Ogre reportedly made a deal with Naike and never received payment. That's all. We'll see what comes of this.

Innocent until proven guilty.

Naike (N1ke) pm'd me (and several others apparently) on IRC, asking for a pin for 12m. I got it, and before telling him the number asked him to send me a message on the forums to verify it was him, and he did. I then gave him the pin, and he got off IRC and didn't meet where we planned to for the gold trade.

I have a screenshot of the IRC chat, and I can take a picture of the card I bought with the number I told him.

I already asked BenLand to get the last IP that logged into Naike's villavu account, but that won't help because he apparently has over 500 IP's he's logged into, and that IP doesn't match anyone else's on here, so it could be someone using a proxy or him.

Edit: Actually I can't find the card atm, I'll look for it if someone cares.

I wouldn't think nike would sellout his reputation for a month of runescape members…

I hope this doesn't come to this again..

24 hours he has to reply from now, I hope this is just some human error and we can resolve this.

I really doubt Naike would do this.

He's done trades before on sythe with like 60mil on skillers

Yeah, I doubt that it was him (probably not significant, but going through his old posts, he never capitalizes 'msn' :p). Maybe he's ran someone's program from the forums recently that stole his passwords, or something like that.

Or maybe his internet just went down for the day? Family emergency, if it was him I'm sure we'll hear back from him soon.

@ogre if things dont work out (hopefully they do…) I will pay 5m on behalf.

It's possible he got hacked. I got a message from him here on forums about borrowing an account. "Heard you had a rather good main?" This wouldn't send alarms bells from most people but Naike already knows what my Account looks like as he's already used it for scripting along with several others. Just something to be Noted.

I'll also give 5m to Ogre if N1ke doesnt pay up/show up/have a good explanation etc. I think, even if N1ke claims he was hacked, he should be the one to pay because it was his account, his responsibility. Otherwise if theres no real punishment we'll get heaps of people doing the same thing - logging in via proxy, acting slightly weirdly and doing trust scams, and then saying they were hacked.

Or maybe we should get "Official SRL MM's" now. :)

Agreed. Staff should certainly look into this.

N1ke tried to get me to sell him one. I tried and it failed (I guess Paymo is shitty and activates it on your own account (doesn't give you a pin)). He was IRCing off bredbandsbolaget.se which I am pretty sure it his ISP.

When I informed him that it didn't work and activated automatically on my account and asked him what his plans were, I was informed:

Why don't you explain to us what happened and not leave us wondering?

Well could the staff please inform us on their "investigation" because I think this affects the community as a whole and not just staff, Naike, and Ogre.

Not knowing if you can trust the integrity of a "higher up" just doesn't sit well with me.
