I don't know if you guys have tried this out or even heard of it, but I recently came across it and was wondering if anyone's given it a shot and how it worked for you. It's apparently completely open source and downloadable for both Windows and Linux I think? I also saw something about it can be ran or developed through Python, .Net, and Java… but I don't know for sure.

It looks really amazing what they've done with this software, and there's a few example games/demos it looks like on the site you can get an idea about.

So here's a link to the main website followed by a link to the photo gallery of example screenshots of the program, be sure to check it out and let me know what you think! :)

Do note that the pictures you provided is from OgreSpeedTree (or so), which is something you have to buy. The rest of ogre is free.

Yeah those two are from their recent Graphic Trees or whatever they're calling them, but it sure looks amazing at the detail they've put forth into them. Very realistic if you ask me.
