HAARP: weather control project?

For those of you not familiar with Haarp, it literally stands for "High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program". You can google it or whatever but basically it's a series of radio frequency transmitters using an extreme amount of energy upward into the Ionosphere. The program suggests that it's main purpose is to study this portion of the atmosphere for the sole purpose of academical research, but because it's controlled by the U.S. airforce and navy and closely tied in with the time lines of recent natural disasters there's a large group of people wondering if it's not used for other purposes.

Here's just a couple links to YouTube videos giving a short explanation on the project and the potential threat it has. The second link is giving an explanation on linking Haarp with earthquakes around the world.(I hope posting links are allowed, if not I apologize)

There's actually quite a few videos you can find on YouTube relating to this project and people trying to connect it as actually a weather-based weapon of mass destruction. You can watch the videos and make a decision for yourself.

Please post your thoughts and opinions, but keep in mind nothing is for certain, whatever you or anyone else 'believe' it's completely your opinion, as nothing is for sure fact at this point.

Hasn't it been around for years now?

Yep, started in 1993, completed in 2007.

It's ok posting links is allowed. Also, holy crap is this for real? People need to stop fucking with the earth

E: Whatever it is, I am going to do some research on this, maybe its to screw with satellites

Well yeah I saw a video explain how this could disrupt communications and radar and what not, which ultimately would make missiles and such blind. Personally I think it's more practical use would be, like many believe, to create natural disasters such as earth quakes or project super storms, ect… Because in this case, how would enemies know it was random occurrences or if they were made artificially in the form of attacks? It's really interesting if you do even a little research on Haarp and compare it on a time-line to recent natural disasters.

I made a thread relating to this during the Haiti earthquake. It was shot down as conspiracy. However dont be afraid people their is so much they can do and can't do. Nature is far to vast and complicating for their liking. God knows best.

There's actually quite a few people who believe it was the cause of the Haiti earthquake and ultimately used to disguise our setting up military base on foreign as attempts to help out the victims of the earthquake.

Lol, as far as religion is involved that's all up in the air, as anything to do with religion is opinion, there is no fact or right belief. If they're able to use Haarp as people suspect they do, then they're "playing God" already.

Their are no facts that Haarp has the capability to control weather. However setting off Earthquakes is possible and much more realistic.

There was an episode of conspiracy theory with some wrestler(forgot his name) about haarp. There are episodes about a lot of interesting topics. I would suggest everyone to check out that show. The only question I have about haarp is does it give off radiation. That's the only thing I would be worried about. Or if it made runescape stop working… That would be a killing spree day.

Until I see some conspiracy theorists with Ph.D's and are professionals on the subject, and can provide proof, I refuse to believe them. This is just my take on all conspiracy theories.

HAARP reminds me of Area 51, they say they test planes and other aircraft there and is there any proof of them doing anything else? I don't think so.

Call me a sheep, I don't care :p I, for one, welcome our NWO overlords.

I don't believe that there is a way to control the weather globally, it's such a big and complex thing. Maybe locally, with a diameter of a couple, maybe a couple dozen miles, but not hunderds nor thousands of miles.

Well with Haarp, they can raise the ionosphere and ultimately the atmosphere above them which would change the direction of the global jet streams, which in turn control the flow of air currents around the world, such as the direction of storm fronts and what not. Most of this is explained in one of those two videos, I forget which, but it's very interesting to watch.

If HAARP can create Earthquakes, the men have finally reached it's goal. Create the ultimate destruction weapon to kill men.

Wouldn't that just be a nuke? lol.
But yea very interesting although i really wouldn't see the sense in it.
If we wanted to cause natural disasters in another country people would still know someone did it (knowing this was around) if it was consistent.
And there would probably eventually be something to detect where the waves are coming from to produce these occurrences .

Yeah but with a nuke people know it was done by someone else. With an earthquake you don't
