MSI Opening many Runescape Windows

Thanks for the quick reply on my last suggestion about the remote.txt. I figured it was for that quickly after posting :P thanks

I also found out how to not make the computer crash, not sure how, maybe switching down the Debug Level, but it hasn't crashed for awhile.

But everytime now when running, a Mozilla Firefox will be open when I come back from activities that has around 40 RS windows open for some reason. Many of these windows are in the 'set recovery questions' page.

This might be MSI or SRL, and I don't have a big debug file to post. If this has occured before, then that'd be great to know. The script still runs fine and everything though :)

EDIT: I closed the tab, but here's the crazy history… hmm..

This used to happen quite some time ago, but I don't think anyone ever figured out what the problem was, it just kind of went away

I haven't heard of this happening in months though. I'll look into it, but if you could figure out what the debug is when it happens that would be extremely helpful.

The bug probably lies in LoginPlayer; or something imilar to that (like the place where MSI uses it).
Looks like it though it was logged in, and did GameTab() or something similar to that, and clicked the Set Recoveries instead…

Do you have runescape setup properly?

Login player clicks the open runescape button. That's why web-pages appear.

Overtime

I can tell you how this happens 100%. I know the reason. I have seen it first hand. I dealt with this hundredsssss of times. I think i reported a while back. but didnt get much look into it.

Basically what happens is your lagging. Or dcing.

What happens is msi goes idle is doesnt know wtf is going on. It does this for soooo long that eventually you get MANUALLY logged out which brings you to the screen where it tells you the last time you logged in, how many days of mebership etc…

Then marcusilly when that happens msi starts working and for some odd reason it clicks on the "recovery questions tab" over and over and over and over. It wont stop until u stop the script or your computer crashes.

I have seen this happen multiple times to me. It may not always be that your dcing. But it could also be MSI going into a "frozen" state as i call it. Because it doesnt move your mouse, or check for randoms or anything. It starts back up as SOON as the screen goes to the lobby screen.

I had debugs of this but of course many may know that my computer is down and i will never have acess to them again.

If this happens agian post the debug.

I THINK it gets stuck in a continuous loop of "looking for randoms"

im not 100% sure about that.

Yeah, sounds like there's a loop somewhere that doesn't check if the player is logged in. =\

Yeah this has happened to me a few times as well, I don't think anything goes well when your lagging though, I only get logged in successfully every 1 in 4 times. I get passwords typed into the username box, half the username missed off and all sorts.

Can anyone get a screenshot of the RS window and show where it clicks?

this happens because there is the recovery tab above the login button, and on that tab there is a recovery setting button. heres an immage.

Somehow it clicks this button. ive checked my bot and BOOM theres literally over 200 tabs on my Opera.

Thanks, I'll have to look in SRL when I have more time. I can't think of what it would be off the top of my head, but maybe something will stand out.

I'm sure it will be good work, as always coh3n. (:

If I remember right, most of these basic things in SRL and largely coord based. Should be made color based..

Not sure if Gametabs always maintain their colors, but I think they go, so checing for 1 pixel of color that is the same at the gametab's would already solve a lot of trouble

Yea this has been happening every time I run an MSI script.. (usually only MSI script, must be a bad loop somewhere)

Also it sometimes types in my username and pass in the chat box while I'm already logged in… definitely missing a failsafe to check if we are logged in somewhere :p

Good to know. When I have time, I'll go through the include and add if not LoggedIn to everything. :)

E: Okay this actually just happened to me. There were honestly like a 100 of those tabs open. I'll add a bunch of failsafes, and test it again, see how it goes.

E2: So far, haven't had any issues regarding this; however, I have had some problems with some random detection. So, I'm testing out a few changes. Just thought I'd give an update. :)

E3: This has now been committed, please let me know if it happens again.
