I'd like to know if this errors also occurs when running scripts that do not include / use reflection. (If you don't know the error, then please let me know what script you've ran without getting it)

I believe it is an out of memory error. pyroryan said something about there possibly being a leak in the JNI global refs in smart, but that he and Ben looked and couldn't find it.

MSI does not use reflection as of yet does it?

Yes it does.

There is an option to not use it though, but I'm unsure if it's included or not

For clarification: possible but not probable. I haven't looked into the reflection include that deeply yet, so if anyone wants to :P.

You can comment out the {$i reflection…} in MSI's Setup.simba and you can run any script that offers color walking + the powerskill scripts.

E: Oh, and has anyone actually figured out exactly how to recreate this problem? If so, I can run MSI with strictly color to test the new walking system and try to recreate this at the same time.

Coh3n, whenever i run http://villavu.com/forum/showthread....ty+guild+miner which i have 'updated' using Markus's advice to "Replace GetObjectsById with GetObjectsByIdEx and GetPlayers by GetAllPlayers", i get the code;8 problem and simba opens up a new tab.

That link is invalid. Who's Guild Miner is it? It also may help if you told us which file was opened. ;)

I would assume CStrikes? That's the only other recent, Reflection one I know of.

it is Cstrike's

I read in the other thread that Cstrikes script doesn't work because of that error. So my advise, don't use a script where people have said it doesn't work. ;)

With my superglass maker, I have not gotten the thread code error and have used it for a fair amount of time. It does not include reflection.

I had the code 8 error, when i was using essminer and i tried to open another script, I think it only happens when simba takes too much mem or something.

And as I have previously pointed out, a simba which was opened and unmodified still created a memory issue for me. Therefore its not a reflection issue

Simba was just open, not doing anything? You weren't running a script?

Memory issue relates to code 8 how? :)

ive provided a picture for people to see it :) (even though people know what it says)
i was running MSI - WCer - EV yews - and i was cutting trees)

I still think it is Reflection related.

BenLand100, could you add a mechanism to SMART that can show how much objects are currently in-use / not freed?

So, if you've used scripts that don't use reflection (or don't even use SMART at all, that would be most helpful) and still get the code 8, please let us know. (Code 8 is out of memory)
