So they ban for using macros on keyboards / mice?

Like if I were to setup a macro on my razer naga that says

hello how are you

I could get banned?

I really can set up a macro to do anything and everything I can do with my mouse / keyboard

Iirc they once said this was legal. Idk where nor when
I have no idea if they can differ though

I'd hope it was legal.. lol

but they can't tell the difference between a bot that is spamming and a keyboard macro, I can set my mouse to spam something, anything.. make it read a whole book into runescape for hours if I wanted

I don't think I'll ever understand how they magically know stuff is a bot
