I am wondering what exactly causes the accounts to change status underneath the username, I always thought it was the activity bar :/ but mine is full and I am still at Lesser demon, could somebody please clear this up for me? :)

I think you need SRL Member's to become a KBD

I thought that might have been the case :/

I think the longevity bar needs to be up there a ways too

I think 74% more than qualifies :) haha

Monster Ranks

The monster ranks are the monster names that appear underneath your SRL rank. There are 3 different ones: Chicken, Lesser Demon, King Black Dragon. These depend on how long you have been on the board in total and how filled you activity and longevity bars are. Just a bit of fun really, they don't effect what you can view.

Its pretty obvious which order they go in: Chicken 1st, Lesser 2nd, KBD 3rd.

Chicken is for people who have have minimal activity/longevity.

Lesser Demon is for people who have an activity and longevity that is about in the middle of the bar.

King Black Dragon is for users that have their activity and longevity around 80%. Not many users have this rank.

There is another monster rank, but its not really a proper one, just for people who are banned, it simple says Banned.

They must have changed things back from when I only had about 50 posts, because I was a KBD back then. They probably had only based it on activity =p

I am KBD but only have 56% activity at time of this post. What's up with that?

I have activity of 96% why wouldn't it have changed? :/

@Harry, as soon as you get the monster rating you don't go back down if your activity drops :)

PMed you, also even though the system should be automatic, it seems to screw up a lot and you just need to ask.

But according to Xanith's post/the thread he talked about

So maybe you need 80% longevity.

@Harry, activity changes all the time, maybe
1: Rank is only based on longevity or
2: Your activity and longevity were at 80% at some time and thus you got the rank.

EDIT: hmmm, certainly not around 80% I never saw it said KBD
actually I never pay attention to this, last time I was caring I was Lesser Demon for sure

the forums have a built in sensor, if you ask about it, you'll never get it :)

(I think ?nielsie95? explained the functions when he first implemented them when the forum was re-structured. I'm fairly sure that Richard's definition is wrong, or old)

It's based on how often you visit, how much you post and how long you've been here. The ?/5 is how much you can gain per day. You get 1 for visiting and the other 4 are for posting. If you keep it up for a certain amount of time, you'll gain a rank.

I don't want to explain it down to the very bottom, that'll keep it a bit more exciting :p

You need to link your RS account with your SRL account.
Then you need to actually kill a king black dragon, and you will get the rank.

What about the Tormented Demon rank then ;) I think I'm overdue something like this :D
