PowerMining Using M1D1

It would be great if you could add an addition to PowerMininstest Xp so there would be an Option for M1D1.

M1D1 = Mine 1 Drop 1. Fastest Xp/H.

Oh, ofcoure! Drop one the second you start mining the next one! Simple but brilliant! :p

Dunno about this, but I think if you drop something whilst mining then it stops the whole mining sequence

I'm pretty sure thats how it works. I feel like M1D1 would definitely NOT be the fastest xp/hour. Only sure way is to test, but if you are using a fast dropping mechanism it would seem to be much faster dropping a full inventory.

Obviously, you would drop it before you click the next rock. If you mine fast enough, doing this between 2-3 iron rocks is THE fastest exp for mining. (maybe granite is faster, i have no idea as i've never done granite)

So how does this work? Click Rock, wait till mined, click drop, click next rock?

Yup, and past about say 50 mining (Complete estimate, could be higher/lower), you mine iron in 1 game tick (.6 seconds) 95% of the time. The iron rock respawn rate is around 3 or 4 seconds i believe, so it goes about like this:

Starting; 2 iron rocks next to player.
Mine 1. 1 rock empty, 1 rock full.
Mine 2. 2 rocks gone.
Drop an ore. Rock 1 respawns. 1 rock empty, 1 rock full
Mine Rock 1. 2 rocks gone.
Drop an ore. Rock 2 respawns. 1 rock empty, 1 rock full

repeated to infinity. (the first 2 lines would be skipped. yes, there would always be 1 extra ore in your inventory.)

I like the way this sounds. I think it would work.

So this needs to be done with two rocks where you dont have to move?
Also why have i never heard of this is sounds great :)

Granite is really fast. I got 77 with that and then went to concentrated coal. From there to concentrated gold. Now I'm 86 mining. All legit.

What? I see nothing detectable with this?

Legitimate players are actually more likely than not to utilize this method.

If we are aiming for the fastest exp rate then I'd think this would become quite detectable tbh. Someone said the rock would be mined everyone 0.6 seconds and the we'd drop the iron and repeat. Well I don't think a legit player could/would do this for a period longer than 5 minutes or so. They usually stop for a few seconds at least to afk. Then again perhaps not, but just felt like sharing. :)

When I used to play legit I always used this method. I don't see how it would be detectable at all. If anything, it's more human like.

Mining Spree?

we could add different effectivenesses to MSI by making a centralized MSI_Wait.

var
MSI_CurrentSpeed: extended;

MSI_CurrentSpeed = 1.00; //default

const
SPEED_FRENZY = 0.25;
SPEED_FAST = 0.5;
SPEED_QUICK = 0.75;
SPEED_HUMAN = 1.00;
SPEED_TIRED = 1.25;
SPEED_LAZY = 1.50;
SPEED_BORED = 1.75;
//this would be such a great antiban system.

procedure ChangeMSISpeed(speedConst: integer)
begin

end;

//MSI_Wait is only to be used when interacting with RS
//expanding on FT_Wait
function MSI_Wait(time: integer): boolean;
var
t: integer;
begin
Result := not MSI_FindRandoms;

if not Result then exit;

t := GetSystemTime;
time := t + round(time * MSI_CurrentSpeed);

while (t < time)
begin
MSI_Antiban(arrayRandom([50, 100, 200, 500, 1000])); //MSI_Antiban has it's own timer
Result := not MSI_FindRandoms; //MSI_FindRandoms should also have a timer to wait at least 100 between itself

if Result then exit;

if not MSI.Extra[ON_WAIT] = null then
MSI.Extra[ON_WAIT]();
end;
end;

This would have to be used with something like WaitUntil tho.

WaitUntil is in SRL in Timing.simba.

I *think* versions of those still need to be done for reflection.

but there's a general wrapper.

If you wish to write one, just make a function that returns a boolean and use the wrapper function

I would assume that legits would like to use efficient methods even more than bots, because they are actually spending more time.

Well for the best Xp / H in this would be something like this.

Mine 1 then drop 1. Then instantly move the cursor to new rock.

And for the regular power mining:

1. Start Mining rock.
2. After that immediatly hover over the next rock.
3. When Mining is over it would instantly click the new rock what is already under our cursor.

This would be very cool.

wait while mining could keep track of other rocks around, and hover closest rock, and keep track that that one has ore, if it doesn't move to next closest rock

This could actually be made as an extra (even if it is only a couple functions). With Zyt3x's new extra system, we would just have to point MSI_Proc[msi_OnDropAll] to whichever drop method is used in this function. Or even an msi_OnPowerMine because it would probably involve mining one, then dropping, mining, one then dropping, etc.

Well I'm pretty much done with the hovering over the next object thing, but the M1D1 system hasn't really been implemented (that I remember).

Meh dunno why everyone seems to think this is the fastest method for mining :S As far as I know mousekeys is the fastest method.. You hold down a button and it drops the entire invent in approx 1-2 seconds.. and its fully unbannable according to ModMark.. It's what I did all the way to 80 then did gold at living cavern to 85.

To replicate MouseKeys would you not just pre-bind the actions and programmatically press the button the actions are binded to?

M1D1 isn't done by a legit player for more than an hr.. It gets pretty annoying and requires more concentration.. A player who mined for hours and got tired would rather click and just wait rather than doing the extra steps.

Mousekeys is the fastest at anything that requires dropping..

People have tried the prebinding - it doesn't work. A click/key recorder of some sort might be able to be used to figure out what exactly happens when mouse keys are used, then replicate that into functions.

http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=pzREnneA

Half way down is a replication of mousekeys.. As far as I know, mouse keys works like this:

1.) First co-ordinate set.. second click set at a distance of x from the first click. this would be done 4 times for the first row

2.) we need to move down by y pixels and repeat 1.)

Mousekeys always go the exact same distance each and every time in pixels..

3.) You would have to simulate a button press such as NumLock.. so

int i;

int main()
{
while (i<7) //7 rows down... clicks 4 times across in the x direction.. 7*4 = 28.. bam all 28 items clicked and dropped..
{
keybd_event(VK_NUMLOCK, 0, 0, 0); //Will hold numlock button..
while (isKeyDown(VK_NUMLOCK) == 0)
{
mouse_event(MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTDOWN , x, y, 0 , 0); //first four then 1 down then repeat again
mouse_event(MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTUP , x, y, 0 , 0);
for(int n =0, n>3, n++)
{
SetCursorPos(x+ 4, y); //will move the cursor x pixels in the x direction 4 times...
mouse_event(MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTDOWN , x, y, 0 , 0);
mouse_event(MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTUP , x, y, 0 , 0);
}
SetCursorPos(x2, y + 4); //Moves cursor y pixels down once then repeats the entire while loop 7 times.
mouse_event(MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTDOWN , x, y, 0 , 0);
mouse_event(MOUSEEVENTF_LEFTUP , x, y, 0 , 0);

i++; // after 28 clicks.. Numlock Up or break;
keybd_event(VK_NUMLOCK, 0, KEYEVENTF_KEYUP, 0); //release numlock
}
}
}
The reason why others failed when trying to simulate the pre-binding is because smart re-defines the keypresses that gets sent to the client.. instead the keypresses are sent to BlockingNaziQueue or a different thread and the system therefore never receives it.

If simulated with simba and the browser rather than smart, the system will receive the keypress and set off mousekeys.. Worked for me in c++ so there is no reason it shouldn't work with simba.

MouseKeys isn't really a good idea right now after reading what ggzz said; however, M1D1 is very possible as a dropping alternative. A combination of MSI_MineRock and MSI_DropAll should be written in Mining.simba, and can be called if the user chooses to use M1D1 over the standard dropping methods.

I do m1d1 when I play legit, and I think it should be made so that the cursor moves to the first inventory slot(empty) right after clicking the rock, instead of waiting for the ore to appear in the inventory, because that's what a human would do. I don't know how that would be implemented though.
BTW, m1d1 works the best with world with 1.5k+ population with two rocks, you pretty much need 3 rocks for most worlds.

That's possible, and it would probably be a good idea to have the Mouse move to the next empty inv slot after each ore is clicked/mined. It is definitely the most human like mining method(if that is what you're going for), in my opinion.
