I have recently gotten into liking electronica music.

I usually like hiphop/rap, along with rock, but I am starting to like more and more techno.

I like the techno that goes very nice with bass (because I recently got a car, and feel badass with it playing :D)

Trance, genre of my choice. Guess that's a bit vague though, so euphoric. Don't irritate everyone by putting your bass on max and winding down your windows… :P

haha, I don't go that far, but if I see people I know, or wanna look cool :p, I just make it so you can hear.

I LOVE TECHNO.

I like Trance and dubstep pretty much. I also dont care about my bass, I go around the day care for old people and blast it in my car. (That's just me though)

I cannot stand dubstep, its a blasphemy. :|

Bassnectar is more of a gateway to techno. More intense bands like Dubstep are really where it's at when it comes to techno.

Nothing better than listening to crazy shit like techno with two 10" Kickers 1100ws, 4 6x9 kenwood door speakers 350 watts of pure joy

I apologize if you only meant for people to post if they like techno, but personally I don't like it one bit. Though, I will admit, I haven't heard much at all.

I choose my music based on lyrics more than the actual music. I enjoy listening to songs I can relate to and just zoning out and thinking.

I listen to Techno cause it takes you to a whole new level. Like your in fantasy land zoning out with anime characters and getting high!!!! All in all its crazy and its the only thing that can maximize the subs in my car…

Rap and Techno is all I listen to.

No, I meant it as a discussion about techno i guess.

I usually do that to, and some songs I have been hearing recently on my move into listening to the genre have been able to appeal to my emotion.

Some songs i do feel get repetitive for 5 minutes with just playing a melody over and over.

But some songs make you pumped up, so make you think.

And nava, I have heard half those songs before but a few of those are new so thanks.

I'll have to agree with you on the thoughts of dubstep, I've listened to a few, and it sounds like someone has just taken a half decent track, found themselves a DAW, and messed around with any buttons and knobs that they can find…

I personally enjoy dirty house or just regular house more than anything lately. My music tastes switch every so often. One minute I'm listening to classical, then I'm listening to rock and then metal. Then I'm listening to house or dirty house. Or even dubstep if the situation calls for it.

I've been in to Trance Techno and Euro Techno for more than 12-years. Unfortunately, my HDD got burned out but I enjoy listening to other DJ's works.

my friend broke my rear-view mirror by putting my bass up to 4/6 lol..

Lots of songs in this thread sounded really cheap to me..

Minimal is the way to go!
