SRL Archive - Suggestions

I have downloaded and set up Simba multiple times and have had it working by changing all the .scar files over to .simba at one point.

The problem is that every time there is an update the .scar files are back. Some scripts call Smart.scar and the others will be whatever.simba.

Now, when I rename all the files .simba I have a problem and when I name them all .scar I have a problem. Do I need two copies of each? Or am I just doing something wrong. When the Associate Files extension is ran with Administrative access, all the files are converted to .scar…

Just keep them how they are. :p Simba can open .scar files. ;) Associate them and let it be.

Some you need to know, though.. Reflection is all .simba, SRL is all .scar. Smart, you can just have {$Define SMART} before {$i SRL/SRL.scar}. If you want reflection, it's {$i reflection/reflection.simba} after {$i SRL/SRL.scar}.

I have win 7, but the .scar file work fine without renaming its extension. May I ask why you wanted to change all the extensions to .scar or .simba?

Simba was giving an error because it couldnt locate the included files because they were in the wrong (.scar) format. I switched them to .simba and they worked fine after that. After updating they are all back at .scar and I've tried running it with all as .scar and all as .simba so I guess I need to change them to fit what was mentioned a few posts above…

Just have it how it is when you download Simba and how reflection/SRL come. :p They all work fine just how they are. :)

I dont know what I did to fuck it up, but I have it working correctly as AFAIK now.
