Would making a 40 attack, 99 strength, 99 range account (with maybe some other skills trained) be good for p2p also.
I'm thinking of starting the account f2p and then switching to p2p if I have enough fun with it.

EDIT:
just to clarify, if you didn't know, rune pures quest to 45 def so they can use rune boots, zerker helm, barrows gloves, glory, and fire cape for high str bonus, 99 str, either 60, 70, or 99 attk, maybe 95 prayer for turmoil curse, and high hp/mage/range (for mage resistance or maybe ancient spells).

The 40 attack will be quite worthless. You will want either 50(gmaul), 60(dragon weapons, mm suggested), 70(whip), 75(godsword), 78(vesta statius), 80(chaotic), or 99.

So it wont be worthless. I'll keep it maxed at 40 while I'm f2p, and train it more if I decide to become a member.

50 attack, 99 strength, 99 range, and 34 pray, SET. You basically R Cbow with d bolt's (e) and gmaul em for a ko, works well for me and my bro. Also, you could get a 60 attk, d claw. You do not need to do MM, just use rune scim, they'll think ur a mauler, so thats good too, but if you want a zerker, I have one not in use that you can take an idea off of.

Got my f2p lvl 43 combat 50 hp 1 def 8 prayer 62 ranging loaded up with everything I need for about a week of pking. Will let you know how it goes.

Lol went pking last night with my pure. Pwned a mage pure who dropped around 60k worth of runes and items. Went to bank and got more food. Ended up dying the next 3 times by getting quad teamed or worse by a group of pures. It's all good though, haven't lost a single 1v1 fight, infact I've won all those in about <10 seconds, and I bought like 11 sets of extra gear so the only annoying part about dying is running back to varrock.
