Well, I decided to stop threadjacking, so yeah.

Quite honestly, I'd love to have a group of a few friends to pile people, but not big enough to have full on wars; that gets a bit much for me. Nothing above me and two others (prefer one, usually) is the best, in my opinion.

I'm nearly 94 mage, could get def + hp up (along with levelling range to +hp without cb from range), and a ranger would be my first choice to team with. I like farcasting. :3

The point would be just to annihilate people as quickly as possible, so a meleer is also helpful (dds/whatever other melee weapons are used today..), as long as they can do a lot of damage fast.

Especially good if they can risk quite a bit of money (with free trade hopefully coming back, we could pay each other back hopefully).

I think it'd be a good idea to just have a list of trustworthy members who are willing to pk with others, if all goes as planned.

Anyone else have plans for wildy?

It would be a fun project to have on the side.

I got a 99 str pure I could try out…I'll work on my range and mage for now, plus gettting some cash/quests done.

My pure is 90 str 90 range 94 mage. My main has maxed combat stats and 88 summoning…

Granted I'll never get that, but that'd be a sick account. 110 cb non summ, 122 with it.

I've got a combat 99 (98 range 94 mage 90 hp 60 pray mid 70's att str def) and a 112 (99 att 99 str 94 mage 70 pray 75 def 75 range). Pking was always my favourite thing to do, so I'd definately be up for teaming up with some people. :)

I've been thinking and I couldn't pay for membership on a new account, so I think I'd make an account for f2p pking if anyone else wanted to but couldn't pay for members.

Definitely wouldn't be my first priority, but I would work on it some if anyone wanted. ;) Don't want to leave anyone out.

74 CB, 50 Attk, 99 str, 1 def, 1 mage, 71 range, 88 hp, 3.5m. I'ma try to work on Range and I might not get mage, but I can gmaul for u.

err 74ish range but my overall level is like really low. So im deceptively powerful for my level.

I just started my 2nd main/PK'er and it's only f2p, but once I finish training him I'd be happy to do anything on a free world.

Current stats:
40 Attack (goal 45)
48 Strength (goal 80+)
40 Defense
1 Ranged
44 Prayer (goal 70+)
43 Magic (will be 80 for sure when I'm done superheat/smithing/alching these 18,000 steel bars o.O)
Dungeoneering 44 (goal 67+, for the G2H)

67 dungeoneering might take a while though(and then the costs to repair it are pretty high as well-10,000gp for 1%), but if you're willing to spend that much time and money then I guess its worth it.

Honestly, Dungeoneering is one of the only F2P things that doesn't seem boring to me anymore. My old account had membs on it and I quit RS when it expired, so coming back to F2P hasn't been as much fun as it was the 1st time around. I like the random dungeons, and being a F2P'er money is pretty much meaningless after about 5m or so.

Icefire, make it tele ASAP as soon as you get entangled, you can usually beat the TB. If you're not TBed, no sweat, tele. If you get TBed first and then entangled, drop your glory and pouches and have the script run back to get them. Would be quite a challenge to do it well I think

They said they were going to move things such as FOG out of the wild so I'm sure the abyss tele will move too. Your still gonna have some work to do with your script icefire :P

Very true. It definatly looks like free trade will be the first thing to come back. I don't mind because I don't even pk but it looks like I have time to start getting ready. :D

Well Mod Mark H said they could return the wilderness now if they wanted too. The only problems they will have is relocating things… The wilderness is already coded however since the start of Rs2.

Free trade is very easy to bring back all they have to do is remove the limit.
Staking is very easy to bring back as well.

But what I already know is that a year and a half ago, China passed some laws that bring harsh consequences to company's who promote gold farming and who use stolen credit cards. This allows Jagex and other game companies to legally prosecute anyone who does these things from China. In 07 Andrew said those were the main causes for the removal of the wilderness. He said they lost a lot of money because those Chinese companies bought membership off stolen credit cards etc etc.

So since its been almost a year and a half that China passed this law, it could be that they've already started to work on the wilderness and free trade a year ago or something, and that they only made this vote/petition just to see if people still want it (majority, 90% do want it back). So yeah, but all we can do right now is speculate about the return of the wilderness and free trade. It's not a matter of IF its coming back, its WHEN.

I hope its soon, because I'm getting impatient and I feel like punching Lebron now.
