Hello!

So, I'm very very close to finishing the MSI Form; however, we don't have a start script button! We'll need two versions, the normal one, and a highlighted one (for when the mouse is hovered over it). It should also fit in to the form theme. :) Here's a picture to give you an idea.


I'm still not sure as to the location of the button, but it can be figured out later.

I think it would look cool if you did the MSI Title thing for the start script button :p

Add a tab on the right side (Like Save/Load) that has a play icon and says start?

Good idea, if I understood it correctly, you should click on the MSI Title to start botting… I find that great :)

Well, I was just saying make the start button the same idea as the title, but clicking the title is also cool :p

I like both those ideas. :) We would just need another version of the MSI title image that "Glows" or something to make it very obvious when hovered.

@Dervish, sorry I have no idea what the font it (assuming you're not talking about the text in each tab, which is the default), I didn't make any of the images.

I'm just catching up on some threads now. I'm on holidays so I'll be behind for the next week and a half. I'll check it out right now. Thanks for the reminder. :)

Wouldnt the font be in the psds in the svn? I like the idea of a play button on the right side, like the save and loads. I think it would be good to have a button on the last tab aswell (since i dunno if you can make the play button obvious and keep it in the same style.) I dislike the msi logo being the play button because its has no discoverability.

Yeah that was the only thing I was worried about too. Also, there's just .bmp files in the SVN as far as I know.

err, there's a photoshopfiles folder, but it only has the ones for tab_0. I think the files may be in the form's thread somewhere.

That's just the one I made for the smaller tab. ReadySteadyGo had all the rest and IIRC, he reformatted and lost them all.

Anyone want to take a crack at it? I'm at the stage now where I need this button. If no one can, I may have to brush up on my photoshop skills. :rolleyes:

I made two versions of the start button personally I like the one that has the word start in it, It wont confuse people and its bigger.

What if you make the first image as the default one, and the second one appears if its moused over or if the script is still running?

I kinda like it, though it might look a bit off around the other text, though it may not.

I like the first one; although, I think the text should be changed the the same (or close to) the Save/Load buttons. Also, maybe having the text read "Run" rather than "Start" would make more sense since the symbol you're using is a boot.

Thought maybe it would be a nice idea to cut out the first 3 leters from the 'Runescape' logo, and make a Run button out of them, based on Xanith's. :redface:

Wow I didn't realize it was that big. :o

It needs to be a lot smaller. I was hoping it would be the size of the Save/Load buttons so I could put it in the blue in this image


Maybe even change it so it looks more like those buttons. Would look nicer if it was consistent.

Haha, my bad, I must have misread what you wanted :redface:. If you want it as a 'tab'-like button, why don't you just use the ones you already have, just with different text and a little 'run' icon?

i noticed something you got wrong

on the tab, the gradient goes in the opposite direction
but you have them both in the same direction
