Logging in

With all of my scripts, SMART (or what I think is SMART) is terrible at logging in. It'll type the password in the username field, or just ignore the step completely and say it's logged in, which will make scripts fail and try and skip users. It probably get it right 5% of the time.

Is this fixable? Or is this even SMART related

Do you have updated SRL?

if you're using only one player then you can just start the script, wait until smart shows up, then stop the script, disable smart, login manually then start tehe script again.

Post a screenshot of the script and smart client. Maybe well be able to help you faster

It's gets in the way when I use scripts with breaks, otherwise it'd be fine.

Not at home right now, I'll take a screenshot when I get back. I don't think it'd give you much information though since it's a non-script specific problem.

Logging in is working perfect for me. Works 100% of the time. Have you tried simply redownloading SRL? Also, what's your player setup look like in the script you're using?

I've recently come back to the forums and have the same problem with any script I try. I have tried re downloading simba and srl over and over.

It may be something else, but it gets to the login procedure and doesnt get out of it.
I've added Writeln after the login call and it never gets printed.

As trivial as it may sound, did you fill in the declareplayers and then call it? Plus, did you check the window settings?(I don't what else could be causing it, since my loginplayer works fine)

Make sure your graphics options in Runescape are set to fixed window. I had this problem earlier today and LordSaturn (sp?) helped me out.

That was the problem. I'm just an old scripter making new mistakes. Hopefully I'll be back on it soon enough :). That way my help threads can stop making up 50% of the newest posts lol :)
