I would like a list on what we think needs to be developed, I am thinking on creating something that buys items from stores, which should be simple enough.
Find item, find item location, then right click and select amout, easy enough.
Rep'd. I think that asking what the community needs usually leads to a script that will be put to good use. I personally enjoy the challenge of finding something the community might need, but is not 'consciously' aware of. (My first step would usually be to scan the script sections to see which ones were 'inactive')
And since I'm enjoying writing this, I'll go on. Nowadays if you look through the script section, you will see which ones are the most used. (Therefore, you would either have very tough competition and you'd try to excel or you would know which ones not to do. eg WCers)
And I think that nowadays there's a key point to consider. MSI.
I'd consider that for two reasons:
1. Recreating already available scripts is using twice the resources to do the same thing. So if you're gonna recreate a script, make it better than the other one (and this I do not only mean functionally) or just don't do it. It's a waste of time. If you can create a WCer, you can create a Miner and a Fisher as well. MSI is proof of this - the same core was used with little changes to implement all three.
And now with cooking we have discovered the only real difference is the banking method. 2. MSI is pretty damn good. It'd take a lot of time and effort, and if you got there, those skills would've been so much better employed developing hasn't that
doesn't exist yet. Or something that went inactive.Just took another look at the Scripts Section. This community makes me proud. I was actually really happy to see all those colourful icons and notice that they're all different. I am really happy to see this community is actually full of active scripts that cover most of the basic skills:
Mining, RC, Fighting, Fishing, Cooking, Woodcutting, Ranging, Firemaking, Smithing, Thieving and Magic.
