MSI Artificial Intelligence!
Hey everyone!
I've decided to put together a list of all MSI's artificial intelligence (or close to it) features as I'm sure you guys will be interested. :) Here it is:
Tool Withdrawing
If a player's required tool(s) (i.e. pickaxe or hatchet) aren't found, it will open the bank (if at a bank) and withdraw the best tool that's needed. For example, if no hatchet is found, and the players woodcutting level is 45, the script will open the bank and withdraw a Rune hatchet (if found in the bank).
Start anywhere in Runescape
If the player isn't at the script's bank, path, or location, MSI will teleport home (Lumbridge) and walk to the starting location of that script. If it's in the path from Lumbridge to the starting location, it will continue rather than teleport again.
Run out of supplies
If a player is both net and bait/fly fishing, for example, and it runs out of bait/feathers, it will realize this and reset the player's objects array so it will only net fish from then on. It will also deposit the excess tools (fishing rods) the next time it banks.
Relocating
MSI has a relocation system that will relocate if the objects aren't found. For example, if for some reason you wander too far away from Draynor Willow trees, the script will walk back to the trees. Also, MSI remembers the player's start location when powerskilling so if it wanders off, it will walk back to it's original location.
There are certain scripts such as Edgeville Yews and Barbarian Village Fisher that require the player to walk to the next tree/fishing spot. When the objects aren't found, the script will walk to the other location that holds the required objects. It will also work with locations that have more than two locations to walk to.
Object Tracking
MSI's uses a nice tracking system to track objects such as trees, monsters, or rocks. If you're standing far away from a tree, the tracking system will track it until to stop moving to ensure we're waiting for the right rock to be mined.
Autoing the next level object
If your player has a lower skill level, or is very close to be able to mine/chop/whatever the next rock, you can set the script to mine that rock and it will after it's gained that last level. For example, you start with a character with level 1 Woodcutting. You set it to powerchop (don't specify any trees). MSI will cut only Normal trees until level 15, when it will start cutting Oak and Normal trees if found. After hitting 35 Woodcutting, it will cut Normal, Oak, and Willow trees (assuming they're all found on the main screen). The same thing goes on and on for the higher level trees.

Please post any you think I've forgotten. Also, you must remember that with any kind of program comes bugs. If one of these AI features aren't working, please file a bug report in the MSI Bugs section. :)
Cheers,
The MSI Team
