What is your favorite ciggarette type ? I'm willing to try them all as long as they exist in France.

Personally : Lucky Strike Red.

I've been living the 100% clean life for the past 3 months. Feels good. I drink 3 liters and eat like 3 bananas a day.

But I miss it sometimes. Whatever you do, DON"T go Camels! Lucky Strike is fine!

I only smoke cigars or pipes with friends sometimes.. Once or twice a month… at most.

Weed. If anyone offers me a cigarette (not very uncommon), usually at parties and shit, I won't say no, but I wouldn't buy a pack or anything.. :p Same thing with drugs (I've smoked a lottttt of weed but I've never spent money on it; people just offer me to smoke with them).

I like menthols though.

The reason I stopped doing all the shit I did (excessive: weed, drinking, bad choices in general) was because a true friend confronted me face to face. But this is too anonymous to change a life

I've got a question for you:

I have no problem with smoking (as long as I don't get ill from it), but one reason I don't do it is that I don't want to die of lung cancer, as cancer itself is IMO among the top of the worst diseases to die from on planet earth next to chemical torture (specifically because of the long decline, like HIV… and the only current medicine is torture in itself). Even testimonies from patients [who are now dead] say that the medicine eventually doesn't even offset the pain as cancer grows and crushes everything in your body.
Would it be worth such a death? My choice would be 80 years of a decent life than 40 years amazing with a terrible end, but that's just me.

Not trying to take it off topic, but this is an honest question :) Hopefully no offense is taken, I'm not trying to fear-monger but rather give my reason by why I choose not to and see what you think. Thanks in advance

I really enjoy clove cigars. I especially enjoy them when I'm really fucked up, but they're nice sober too. I also enjoy hand-rolled cigarettes rather than the pre-rolled ones in packs. I haven't had enough different brands of rolling tobacco to really put my finger on a favorite one, but I enjoy Bali Shag Golden.

When you're angry, depressed, sad, and any other feelings, the best friend to calm you down in that moment is a BIG RED Lucky Strike :p, and even sometimes when i'm really very down with my personal things and stuff like that, i just laugh with my self and say, if i had a cigarette right now, i wouldn't smoke it, i would eat it :p, just to calm my self down. It makes you feel good again :)!

To be honest, I'll just shoot myself in the face, hang myself.. End my life if I would be announced with such a terrible disease.

However it is to be known that smoking isn't as cancergenerating as media want to say it is : one ciggy won't kill you, a dozen a day for x years will.

I don't smoke tobacco, I've watched my mom and sister grow up with it.. It disgusts me.

I'll smoke weed here and there, but nothing but very very casually.

To be honest I'm starting to see myself going down a path to a tobacco addiction and I really don't want that, but I still want to enjoy smoking a nice hand-rolled cigarette or cigar every now and then. Can anyone relate to me here?

Winfield Blue or Peter Styvyesant, or Port Royal rollies, and weed. Would be a good idea to stop though lol

Marlboro Red 100's. Used to smoke Marlboro Menthols until some idiot gas man sold me the smooth variety. Holy SHIT they were BAD.

Also enjoy a Djarum Black Clove every now and then.

I was last week on one of the canarian islands and 200 cigs of pall mall cost me 6 euros, in finland 20 cigs is 4 euros.

In Australia, 20 cigs is ~$14 (~10 Euro), and they're going to raise the prices more soon. :(

A pack is $6 here. I think that gas 12? :p I've never been into cigs really so I dunno prices or quantities.

Anyways, I went on a ciggarette trying run today and here is my verdict :

Marlboro red : bleh
Winston blues : bleh
Philip Morris : okay, even want to say good :)
Rothmans : okay
Lucky Strike convertibles : bad
Marlboro menthol : bad
Polar Menthol : best of the 5 menthols i've smoked
Camel : okay

I used to smoke alootttttt of weed but havn't used weed, drugs or alcohol in over a year. About 5 months after I quit all that I quit smoking cigs. I had been smoking cigs for about 5 years. Now I just enjoy a Black and Mild Royale every once and a while.

Seriously, after smoking for only five years, I no longer got that nicotine buzz so I don't understand how any of you are saying it is relaxing after smoking that many cigs a day. It is weird when you quit and you have nothing to with your hands tho, and it doesn't smell good like it used to :P

When I smoked I was a Camel man, and if I was short on cash I would buy Pall Mall.

Well I've been short on cash lately, and started rolling my own ciggarettes… Camel are for the wiiiiiin ! :p

What I enjoy about them is that you can put other stuff :rolleyes: in them and not necessarily weed or that kind of stuff…

But tea ! Tea gives a nice smooth taste and sweet delicious smoke odour to the cigg ! :P

As I enjoy spending time on /weed/, I've read about smoking tea. I've heard it's quite a nice taste, but I've never tried it. :o I might have to buy some papers (I forgot mine as well as a pack.. I dunno how many cigs were left. :p I got a quarter of shrooms and smoked three ounces of weed between four people :D) and try it.

Having chocolate powder in the cigg also gives a nice taste, however it melts sometimes and craps all over your pants :p.

For a rolled cigg it costs :

Filter + Paper + 1 cigg's tobacco
=0.01+0.015+7.5/60
=0.01+0.015+0.125
=0.15€ (in france for a ciggarette !)

A normal lucky strike ciggarette costs :

5.40/20
=0.27€ !

About half the price for rolled ciggarettes ! Do like :)

Dervish, I suggest the relatively new in the United States, Camel Menthol/Silver. It is basically a menthol cigarette with a menthol ball in the filter that you crush for extreme menthol.

The design on the box is pretty sweet, it actually got me to buy the pack.

These are amazing, that is if you like menthol. If you don't prefer menthol… well I don't know, I only smoke menthol cigarettes.

I attached a picture so you can stare at the amazing design of the packs.

I love them ^^ you can basically switch from normal to menthol or from menthol to uber menthol :p.

I tend to buy Camels a lot more than any other brand of cigarette. Good old Turkish tobacco.
Also, Camel has a blend called Camel No. 9, it comes in menthol and non-menthol. They are also very tasty.

Same. I've bought a single pack of cigarettes and a dub, and that's it.

I've smoked a lot of weed but I wouldn't say it's anything so important I'd spend my money on it. (Granted, if I had a job I'd buy weed, but that's different. :3)

If you're gonna do salvia do some serious research first on its effect's and such. I've never done it but I've done roughly-equivalent stuff (such as DMT) and without research there's a good chance I could of fucked myself over. :) Just because its legal doesnt mean its a smart idea to go and do it without having an idea of what you're going to do.

Weed, alcohol, mdma, speed, tobacco, you're pretty much fine without research (better with it though). Any psychedelics (shooms/acid/mescaline/DMT etc), ketamine, salvia, etc, definately do research first. Don't touch heroin or meth. Note: High school/Uni drug classes do not count as research, lol.

Very good point. I was going to take MDMA until I did some research and found out that it isn't good to take while on anti-depressants, especially effexor the one that I am on.

Claw, can you explain what mescaline and ketamine are I've heard of them but I don't know the effects and such.

Well mescaline is a psychedelic and ketamine (horse tranquelizer) is a dissociative. Effects are kind of hard to describe, but check erowid.org.

BTW, in general drugs are largely a waste of time, money, health, and friends. Just something to remember, for anyone thinking of doing anything..

Tried Newports last night (<3 new years!), they weren't too bad - and that's coming from someone who HATES menthols. I'm tempted to try the new non-menthol Newports, but I think they're probably pretty light.

Also got to try oxycodine recently, it didn't do much…

The only thing that I don't like about cigs is the tar. Smell stays in clothes like crazy, which is hard when my parents are drug and alcohol counselors.

Corncobs. Classic. Yea, I was just bored over break and decided to make a pipe. I am going to work on one with deer horn. I wanted to do this one as a single piece of wood. Drilled it and whittled it down by hand. It was pretty fun.

I want to try.

Vaporizers heat up a heating device (can be a number of different things, you actually vape some with a lighter when you smoke, by the way) that sits however far away from the bud. Then when you pull, the hot air passes through/over the bowl and thc/other cannabinoids get released in the vapor and then go to your lungs. The difference is, there's no tar (as there's no combustion, no resin, etc.), so it's much much healthier. Much.. "cleaner" high, usually, as well. It's a nice high, in my opinion, and note that you can still get very very stoned. Also it conserves more weed than any other method.

I don't smoke, and it's not because of my age. Weed and cigarettes are readily available to me through several friends, but I choose not to; my grandpa on my dad's side died at the young age of 63. He did hard drugs in his 20's, and smoked and drank up to the day he died. My grandfather on my mother's side has lung cancer and he has smoked since he was 18. My grandma on my mother's side has heart issues, and she smokes 2 packs a day.

I did however try a Turkish Royal about a week ago, and I think they're my new favorite pre-rolled cigarette. They still can't beat out filter less hand rolled for me though :)

You can make an aluminum foil one. There is a bunch of shit about how bad aluminum is to smoke off of, but I have my doubts about that. You probably shouldn't use it all the time, but once every now and then won't hurt. You can also go with the apple pipe or some other fruit.

or u could save yourself from possible poisoning or death by getting a small glass/pyrex pipe (2.5 - 4 inches). They run 15 - 25 USD.

Smoking from an apple will not poison you. :p

I think purposely putting smoke into your lungs is just stupid … If you smoke so you can "be calm" then try to not get angry in the first place, and instead of smoking go for a walk or have a glass of water of something.

Actually, they go away after a while. I got them, started to quit, then they went away. So I still smoke (granted, I smoke less than I used to..)

With the 12 plants, whatever has not been harvested yet, does not count towards the 2.5 ounces, so the idea is to have your plants in rotation, with a new 1 flowering every month….

One word of warning though, watch out for state troopers as they seem to typically disregard all laws involving this medical marijuana. My buddy got stopped the other day - with his physical card, paperwork, ect. - and STILL got arrested for possession, and apparently they are putting a subpoena on his medical records. I have a feeling that the charges won't stick… but who knows. Just use caution man, and toke it up in safe locations ;)

But my girlfriend and friends help me out when I can't buy any (which has been for the past few weeks) - they buy me some when I'm out. Doesn't really give me the same treatment I need, as I really only get help from sativa strains, which is why I want a card (so I can know that I'm getting what helps).

This attempts will be effective for our next generation because they need to know how harmful this cigarette thing is. Government should increase this tax to high because it will be the only to stop public smoking.

Higher prices = Less people buys it (probably) = Less people will smoke = Less people will smoke in public.
