Description:
Just as the title says, a fly fisher for Shilo Village

Fly fishing is by far the fastest way to get fishing experience
By fly fishing at shilo village where the bank is literally one or two clicks away, it is faster to bank the fish than to drop them. This means you can earn fishing experience the fastest way and bank the fish where you can then use the fish for cooking or selling for geepees.

Setup:

1. Have Simba set up with the latest SRL and Reflection
2. Download the script
3. Put the script somewhere and click play, this will download the latest version and put it wherever the script is running from
4. Put your player in the bank or at the fishing spots
5. Fill in the Declare Players procedure, for the Loc put 'Bank' if your in the bank or 'Fish' if your at the fishing spots
6. Press play

Wow very nice, I'm going to use this to power-level my fishing. I used to do this legitimately, it was one of the fastest/faster ways to get fishing levels. Plus great for cooking exp.

Just ran the script. It's great. I'm still using it and don't have a proggy yet, but I'll post one.

Ha, I was just contemplating doing the shilo village quest…now I have even more reason to!

As soon as I get p2p again I'll use it, forgot my p2p ran out :/

I found a bug. Nothing big.

I don't know how long it did this for, but sometime during the time i was gone from the house I ran out of feathers. I get back and my player is sitting at a fishing spot with no feathers for at least three progress reports.

Maybe add a failsafe if it runs out of feathers?

Ran it today? If so most of the hooks are broken due to the update, they'll be up soon.

BTW I've never seen this error:

Updated the hooks, it doesn't log out anymore, but just afks.

make sure you have latest srl and reflection and try again (i use svn reflection instead of plugin reflection updater)

EDIT: wait, i just got one, it looks like it is a srl stats problem, just ignore it and it will continue to work properly

well its been running fine now for a few hours so I don't want to touch it. I will run the above code if something ends up going wrong again.

EDIT: Another thing, I'm not sure if this is just a coincidence or not. When I am watching it run, it always clicks along the shoreline from the coming back to the bank right in front of the fishing spot. And if it runs straight north to the river and there is none in sight and it clicks east and west and clicks right where it needs to go. Looks kinda suspicious. Not sure if it was just a coincidence but every time I've watched it, thats what it does.

Made the change.

Seems to log out for no reason. Doesn't say it's on a break. There is nothing in the debug besides that randoms report. When I log back in manually I'm standing by the river ready to fish. If I enable smart again once I log in, it will immediately log back out and start taking a break.

This time I was standing on the bridge with half an inventory. Nothing in the debug

EDIT: also I find myself in randoms and the red dot thing is constantly clicking on the mini-map while in the random, like it isn't detecting it.

Using this with good results atm, people are reporting me up a storm though, just because of the area.

Is there any way to change it so I take 12 minute breaks every hour? I'm not very good with script, so I don't want to mess with it myself and end up breaking it

Freaky Forester random, managed to kill the correct pheasant, but couldnt find the forester to give him the raw pheasant. kept clicking the minimap, trying to run south.

About 2 hours later, found my character standing on the bridge with a half inv of fish. Restarted the script, and seems to be working fine

Random solving has nothing to do with the script. I'm not even sure if shuttle is still updating this. Great to hear it works though, I love this script.

Great script, but I've had a couple of problems.
One, it occasionally gets stuck in front of the house in front of the bank.
Second, it doesn't seem to be very efficient in finding fishing spots, it'll go all the way to the other side of the river to find one even if there's one along the same side of it.

Works great! But I had to update it in order to work. You do not seem very active. Should I pm it for you? Or upload it somewhere? It's not much work btw, just some function names and the stats thingie.

He left I'm pretty sure. I think he left a post saying anyone could do anything with his scripts. I'd check on that though

It's a fast place to train fishing and you can bank all the fish you catch rather than dropping them, but most importantly the highest level slayer master is there.

So far this script seems to be running good, the Xp gained seems to be messed up, It said I gained like 225k but overall my fishing xp is only 250k so I know it definelty wasn't that much.

Ok I'll do that next time, also I think when the char runs out of energy and switches to walk, the script doesn't switch back to run after energy is back at 100%. That would speed up XP some.

Hey another good thing to add is iff the fishing spot is on the other side to have to walk near the fishing spot rather than click lure spot because when that happens it like starts running backwards till it gets to the bridge and looks all botty and when there are legit people there it can be dangerous.

It may not seem botty if thats the only other fishing spot, but when it does that and theres a fishing spot quite closer, and all the legits run to that spot and The char does that all the way to the other side.

Hey, I've been running v1.8 today, and sometimes the banking is a little buggy, either it will sometimes sit there for like 1-2 mins and then bank or sometimes it will go to bank, and like semi-attempt to bank but if it misses banker first try it sits there again for like a min then continues to run back to spot with a full inv of fish still in the inventory. I was just watching it and it did the above the first 2 times just running back to bank from fish spots and then the 3rd it finally banked, it only does it sometimes though, other times it will find the banker fast.

Another thing I noticed, I'm not sure if there's anything you can really do about it, but the Xp/hr slows down over time. Like it will start off with like 35k/hr and then after a couple hours it slows down to 25k/hr.

no i havent been able to fix the problem yet, and im not sure why its happening, i will keep trying though

I would if I could, but I'm pretty dumb when it comes to scripting, so if you can't figure it out, I highly doubt I could figure out the problem =P lol.

Sigh…Reflection is dead! Do you remember why you're here? Remember why the Java bots stopped working? Remember the Bot Nuke? Oh yeah, that's right, Jagex killed reflection.
