New reflection folder for 'new' procedures submitted by people

Not everyone has our coding standards and I won't blind commit crap to the SVN [yet… no just kidding I won't, I test everything thoroughly :p]

So what I was thinking is making a new folder to upload their functions, put them through the 'test' and see how it functions. If it goes well and there are no issues, then add them to the main folder. With all the developing I'm doing and crap going on IRL, I don't have all the time in the world to look at these suggestions, nor do I see other people looking at them or doing anything about it. Therefore it drifts off, and there's some good patches for the errors RS has added (like the new deposit upgrade Jagex added for one item that plagued us all).

If people have conflicting names (like proc/func upgrades), I'll just put RNew_…

This allows us to see what could be updated and check into anything that hasn't been committed yet. If no one disagrees or thinks this is a dumb idea, I will go ahead with it.

Go for it. Really doesn't matter as long as people recognize that these functions can and will be renamed when the time comes (to R_).

Use a tracking system! That'll make it easy to know which functions function, and which functions don't!

e: I'll actually make an update to that system

Here is how simple it'll be to use:

const
T_FunctionName

function FunctionName: boolean;
begin
Track(T_FunctionName);

//... Function Code

TrackResult(T_FunctionName, Result);
end;

and it'll print out the following at the end:

~ Track Record
~ ~ FunctionName
~ ~ Searches: 100
~ ~ Successes: 78
~ ~ Accuracy: 78%

Extremely useful & simple to use! :)

Wow nice, would they need MSI though? If so, {$IFDEF MSI}…?

Meh it's just one file, I'd say shove it in reflection.

I'll brush it up, and post it here.

I'll also update the MSI one to fit the improvement.
