All right, this game has not even been out for more than a month and already I'm filled with extreme excitement. I recently rented the game from my local video store and as soon as I popped that sucker in my ps3 I was not one bit disappointed. Infact I was even led to some surprises I was unaware the game had.
This game has literally included all forms of racing except one, which is 1/4 drag racing. You can do stock car racing, grand prix, nascar, go karts, rally cars etc. Boasting over 1000 cars, 26 locations and 71 tracks, this game has enough different modes of racing and features to keep you busy until the rapture.
I really recommend anyone who is into racing games that you rent this, if not buy it! It's totally awesome and worth every dollar.
My one and only complaint is the sound of some cars. I was doing one racing challenge where the engine sound was almost non existant; of course if you have the Logitech G25 like me, and you are using the stick shift, you want to hear your engine rpm to know when to change gears. There's that, and from a subjective standpoint any muscle car after having done engine mods sounds more like a vacuum cleaner than an actual muscle car haha (the supercharger completely overrides the sound of the actual engine basically). Still an outstanding game though!
