Coh3n had nothing to do but script for awhile there… You are forgetting that.
He was in partial school and only had hockey on top of that. Hockey is a hell of a commitment, but nothing in comparison to what some of you have I'm sure.
Just throwing that out there, I'll let him handle that some more though..
Exactly. Last year (and most of the summer) I was literally doing nothing all day, every day. :p Scripting is addicting and I enjoy it. It's not like I'm sacrificing anything in real life to maintain MSI.
Now, I'm a little more busy. The higher level of hockey takes up a lot more of my time plus I have part time school (which isn't much, but still takes up time); however, I still get the time to maintain the include, so it's okay. :)
I feel like MSI is too complicated for someone new to understand. I know the include probably better than anybody, and if I was a new user I would probably look at it once and give up. It's intimidating.
We could make things simpler somehow. I'm sure a lot of functions could be split into several ones. Documentation may be necessary, and I think would help. Also, lots and lots of comments. Any new code I've written I've tried to comment more on exactly what I've been doing, so it may or may not help.
I think overall, the include needs to be simpler and more organized. I mean, its structure now is good, but it's confusing. I think this is because we started with three skills that are the same - you walk, auto, bank, repeat. Now, with skills that work differently, things get less organized and more confusing. I'd like to get my to do list done before worrying about organization too much, though.
