Use of randoms..

Hey MSI!

As the reflection solvers are starting to settle we'll need testing, and a lot of testing! Best way to get testers is to use it in the most used script on the forums, MSI.
I know you used it before until I disabled it. Reason for that was simple, we had two, maybe three solvers at the time and none very stable. But in the near future you should really add the reflection randoms to the include, testing it, getting it close to perfection.

We tested and made sure that all these randoms work.
  • Mordout
  • Leo
  • Pinball
The rest works or very close to working, but needs some small modifying.
I'm farming randoms as we speak getting everything tested and sorted out, I've begged Tarajunky and Squancy to use their massive armies to help me!

tl:dr; I would be delighted if you used reflection randoms in a near future, starting two weeks from now or so.

Discuss, ideas, problems?

Many thanks, RDT!

I think that's a good idea :)

Yeah absolutely! Just let us know when you think they're stable enough. :)

Naike, maybe have a look into using a Debug system like MSI's, and a tracker too ;)

Check the inside forums for the whole discussion that has been going on on it ;)

This should be easy enough to implement in Alpha & Beta stages :)

The main problem before was them returning false positives when the char was just walking around. Once that is solved there really isn't any reason they can't be re-added.

I'll just need to remove MSI_SetupReflection and switch it back to the orignal setup.

:o You used it when we had near to zero InRandom functions. Of course it'll leave false positive ^^
