I'm skipping v6.2 because it was released unofficially, hopefully this will cut down on confusion. Uploading to srl-opendev as I type.
Changes:
+procedure SmartSetup(root, params: String; width, height: Integer; initseq: String);
The new final argument 'initseq' is a string of characters you want SMART to send to RS as soon as it loads and only when it loads (e.g., it will only send it the first time you load RS in that SMART session, NOT when you reuse an already open SMART) For safe mode, use 's' obviously. If you do not want safe mode, use an empty string.
+Client loading (designed by TRiLeZ) that emulates Firefox by sending a proper user agent, etc. I'm fairly sure it was never necessary, but might as well use it if it's available.

Thanks for the quick update. Will SetupSRL; implement this or will the user have to? I'm not quite sure what I'd put in SmartSetup's first two arguments, or rather the entire thing minus initseq.

This method is called via SetupSRL through SmartSetupEx. I went ahead and modified smart.scar to force safe mode and suggested to the other devs that they make it an option. In other words, you scripters/users won't really notice a difference. If you're interested in how it works, see SmartSetupEx in smart.scar

Thanks benland :). I couldn't find where you put the compiled version so I compiled it myself and sent it up to reflection.

Please download it from srl-opendev or
http://bland.no-ip.org/files/libsmart.dll I'd rather have my binary in central places, just for security reasons and having the file signatures the same.
Edit: This raises a point I've been trying to make; If you want to fork SMART, then do it properly: change the name, etc. But just because you can build the official binary doesn't mean you should, and definitely doesn't mean you should distribute it. In fact, the GPL doesn't let you only distribute binaries in this way.

What's the point of adding it to the reflection repository if it is also going in srl-opendev?

I downloaded the new 6.3 version of SMART, and when i try to execute a script it gives me the following error:
[Error] (140:199): Invalid number of parameters at line 139The line 139 looks like this:
SmartSetup('http://'+prefix+'.runescape.com/', 'plugin.js?param=o0,a' + IntToStr((Integer(not(Signed)) + 1) * Integer(not((SuperDetail and Signed)))) + ',m' + IntToStr(Integer(Members)), 765, 503);I have got everything up-to-date and everything was working fine before the update of SMART.

You didn't update to the most recent SVN version of SRL, which probably means you got it from somewhere other than the SRL repository…

http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=60306this is what he did, post three told them to remove the 's' which will now cause a problem once they correctly update there srl/plugins to SMART v6.3

Dunno, because its been there in the past? So just continuing the practice.

Yes, thats right, this is why it probably happens. i had backupped the old smart libraryfile, i will restore it and update it again and post the results.
Edit: No, it still gives the same error.

Since updating, every time SMART logs out I get an error screen that says:
"There was a problem with your current graphic settings, so you have been given default settings for safety. Click below to auto-choose best graphics settings.
Then there are two options, Auto-Setup, or Leave Alone.

SRL needs to fix that, and SMART needs to add the @ sign and a period if it hasn't been done already ;)

Great to hear! I'll have a look at it soon. :)
edit:
Unfortunately it's still detectable, maybe even more so now, just because of a minor mistake:
In
http://blanddns.no-ip.org:81/repos/public-smart/src/smart/Client.java'Mozilla/5.0' needs to be 'Mozilla/4.0'
Refer to the example user-agent(s) here:
https://www.moparisthebest.com/smf/index.php/topic,431592.0.htmlAlso, it would be good to send a valid browser user-agent (like Firefox, or something else cross-platform) in the downloadHTML() method, but that isn't as detectable as the above.

It really doesn't matter >.> I'll modify the repos though with the s/5.0/4/0/
E: if you want to magick up a diff of modifications for user-agent stuff and send it my way, i'd be more than happy to include it. if you can't get it to me directly (i am notorious for not reading pm's), Wizzup usually works out nicely as a courier. He's pretty reliable, and doesn't make a mess on the rug. ;)
