Safe Mode

I do believe something simmilar to safe mode is accesable by holding S when runescape is loading, how about adding something like this:

KeyDown(GetKeyCode('s'));
repeat
Wait(100);
if (GetTimeRunning - t) > 120000 then
Break;
until(RSReady);
KeyUp(GetKeyCode('s'));

(The repeat..until was already there, I just had that there to show where to place the other stuff)

This stopped my runescape flickering, its simple and it means less setup. The next thing I am thinking is seeing if I can get a bitmap stuff to get it into Fixed mode, if that doesn't do that also…

It doesn't change it to fixed mode, so I made a bitmap thing which sets it to fixed mode…check this out..

function ClickOptionsButton: Boolean;
var
OptionsBitmap, BW, BH, CW, CH, X, Y: Integer;
begin
OptionsBitmap := BitmapFromString(18, 14, 'beNrTUTLRIQdZG2' +
'uSgdxsDZFRUqTn6sUd1cWxaOJoKCbQERllJwXcv7rp1f3dQI1oUlhRfnJAe20' +

'qkqAAQ6WvIQUUAL/Dd/g==');
GetBitmapSize(OptionsBitmap, BW, BH);
GetClientDimensions(CW, CH);
Writeln(CW);
Writeln(CH);
if FindBitmapToleranceIn(OptionsBitmap, X, Y, 0, 0, CW - 1, CH - 1, 25) then
begin
Mouse(X + 1, Y + 1, BW - 3 , BW - 3, True);
Result := True;
end;
FreeBitmap(OptionsBitmap);
end;

Function ClickFixedButton: Boolean;
var
Mark, FixedBitmap, BW, BH, CW, CH, X, Y: Integer;
begin
FixedBitmap := BitmapFromString(43, 28, 'beNrtl9FOgzAUhpNe' +

GetBitmapSize(FixedBitmap, BW, BH);
GetClientDimensions(CW, CH);
MarkTime(Mark);
while (TimeFromMark(Mark) < 3000) do
begin
if FindBitmapToleranceIn(FixedBitmap, X, Y, 0, 0, CW -1, CH - 1, 50) then
begin
Mouse(X + 1, Y + 1, BW - 3 , BW - 3, True);
Result := True;
Break;
end;
end;
FreeBitmap(FixedBitmap);
end;

Function ChangeToFixed: Boolean;
begin
if ClickOptionsButton then
Result := ClickFixedButton;
end;

not sure how to implement that…

Well before, I would make the code into a scar file, add it to the include, then call it in SetupSrl.

here is the issue, this has to be done when Runescape is ready to play which RSReady detects, however RSReady only detects when its already in fixed mode. Thats the issue in implementation.

I've already made SMART initiate safe mode when RuneScape is loading. :p
I'm just waiting on Benland to compile everything into a dll.

Good work on this though.

dang, glad to see there was a beter way, it didn't seem perfect, however it would have worked.

Hi ben.

If Ben doesn't want to add it to the .dll, then I'd say this is the best method atm.

What about the one which makes it choose fixed mode?

I don't like that you use bitmaps.. Use coords :)
