Objects on tile, but doesn't take up whole area

I'm having trouble interacting with objects that are located on a tile, yet don't take up the whole area. So when it goes to click on the, it might miss it, yet still be in the same tile.

Would I have to refer to color TPA's then inside the tile or can I click on stuff by ID or such that the cursor is actually on the object?

what are you trying to click? you might be able to find the object by using an ID.

see if this helps out any: http://villavu.com/forum/showpost.php?p=742050&postcount=6

Branches on the gnome agility course. The objects only have uptext and are clickable for a small portion of the tile space.

That tutorial is all I have been referencing, however, I think the getobjectbyid will return the TRSOBJECT to me. All that has though is the ID, Type, and Tile, it doesn't move the mouse to the uptext or anything.

If it's on the edge of a tile you can find the MS points of the two tiles it borders and then find the midpoint.

Ok, the branch is in the middle of the tile.

How would I find the MainScreen coords of the sides of the Tile?

Or just use TileToMSEx

That looks superb, let me try it out.

Objects like this can be dealt with using TileToMSEx.
You just need the correct input :)

(Note, if you know that the object is static, there is no real point trying to find the object)

Except for multi-tile objects that span many tiles (e.g. rune essence)

use the following:
TileToMS
FindColorsTolerance in a small box 20x20 pixels
MiddleTPA

then just move mouse there

It's still static?

This is a good idea, its actually what I used to collect grain, in my (In Progress) flour making script.
