I am running this script which I found in this tutorial: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58935

program DeclarePlayers;
{$i srl/srl/misc/smart.scar} // This is how we include SMART; it HAS to be included BEFORE SRL!
{$i srl/srl.scar}

procedure DeclarePlayers;
begin
HowManyPlayers := 1; // This is set to the total amount of players (more on multiplayer later ;)), for now, just keep it set as 1
NumberOfPlayers(HowManyPlayers); // This is a procedure in SRL which sets up player arrays (also, more on that later), this will always be the same
CurrentPlayer := 0; // This is the player to start with; the first player will always be 0 (you'll find out when you learn all about arrays)

Players[0].Name := 'uuuuuu'; // Username
Players[0].Pass := 'pppppp'; // Password
Players[0].Nick := 'nnnn'; // 3-4 lowercase letters from username; used for random event detection
Players[0].Active := True; // Set to true if you want to use Player 0
Players[0].Pin := ''; // Leave blank if the player doesn't have a bank pin
end;

begin
// These 4 lines HAVE to be set BEFORE you call SetupSRL;
Smart_Server := 152;
Smart_Members := False;
Smart_Signed := True;
Smart_SuperDetail := False;

ClearDebug;
SetupSRL;
DeclarePlayers; // Calls the procedure, you can't forget this!
LoginPlayer; // You want your player to login, right?
end.

These are the results:

Perhaps the problem is that my computer (a library computer) is slow and short on memory.

Any suggestions?

(I'll try again on the computer at home.)

change the smart server first. If that doesn't work, you might be need to update to SMART 6.1

I am home now.

I commented out the line where Smart_Server is assigned, so that SMART chooses the server.

// commented out  Smart_Server := 152;

The same thing happened on my computer at home. Public SMARTv6.1 starts, but just stalls on the Runescape Existing User Login form, i.e., no automatic login is done by procedure LoginPlayer.

so smart actually loads, just it doesnt log into runescape?

try loging in without smart, like have it do it in your browser.

Make sure your graphics settings are all set correctly. Safe mode, highest brightness, lowest detail.

I can't use the program DeclarePlayers script to login without SMART (because its only function is to login automatically using SMART).

Can you recommend a Simba script that I could use where I can login manually?

make sure your graphics are fine first, like i luffs yeww mentioned, i forgot that thats a main cause of not begin able to log in.

and you can use the program DeclarePlayers script to loging without smart, you just have to remove smart.

program DeclarePlayers;
{$i srl/srl.scar}

procedure DeclarePlayers;

Players[0].Name := 'uuuuuu'; // Username
Players[0].Pass := 'pppppp'; // Password
Players[0].Nick := 'nnnn'; // 3-4 lowercase letters from username; used for random event detection
Players[0].Active := True; // Set to true if you want to use Player 0
Players[0].Pin := ''; // Leave blank if the player doesn't have a bank pin
end;

begin

ClearDebug;
SetupSRL;
DeclarePlayers; // Calls the procedure, you can't forget this!
LoginPlayer; // You want your player to login, right?
end.

just like that

Edit: tut on how to setup the graphics: http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55899

Hooray. It worked.

(I am running Simba on the Dell OptiPlex GX260 equiped with 512 MB of total physical memory at the library.)

I was able to run the program DeclarePlayers that I originally showed you (above).

I adjusted the options on my Runescape Windows client as described in the thread, http://villavu.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55899, entitled How to set up RuneScape for autoing.

Thank you, traveler and i luffs yeww. :spot:
