Recommended autoing duration?

What's the safest number of hours to bot for in total per day.
Number of hours to do so before breaking
and number of minutes-or-hours per break.

I don't like macroing with my main, but at times i just need to. And i also need to be safe.

Feel free to answer with your best guess

My setup is 8 hours with 2 breaks of 20 minutes for my main, and for skiller/bot accounts is 8 hours straight.

Technically there is no safe level to bot, if you truly want to be safe you need to use a solid script in an area with little amounts of people, or so many that you blend in.

Example: Alching at GE, no one will report you on the 2000 player worlds.
Example: Alching in your house, no one can report you.

Example: Alching at soulwars, everyone knows people do that there to stop randoms, and usually only autoers will auto there, thus reported.

Don't run for more than 12 hours. I did and I didn't get banned but most people do. Set it to take breaks.
If you don't like macroing on your main, do it for 1-2 hours then break and do a fun thing like a quest, and repeat.

theres no real answer to this, its the luck of the draw if rs pays attention towards you. its your account, do what you need to do and try to at least enjoy the game sometimes :)

this, but a good amount is 3-5 hours a day honestly.

When I auto on my main I usually will bot 2-5 hrs (no more than 5 in a day) and usually only do it 3-4 times / week.

I ONLY auto when I am at my computer doing homework, I actively talk and respond to most questions and people talking, I hold little conversations also…This honestly is what I believe has kept me from getting banned/report/flagged.

I have gotten 3 99s and working towards another 3-4.

I got:

99 cooking
99 fletching
99 woodcutting
87 magic
84 fishing
66 firemaking (just started working towards this)

^ this I agree with. I feel that the best way to 'safe' bot is when you are there and can respond to the non-automatonous actions. Although when I do bot I usually run 24/7 with multiple players and I even have my computer perform general maintenance while I am way; updates, restarting, and the like.

you have your computer restart, and you have it so the script will start again? nice

Yep =]. Quick batch file to open a script that gets me on the internet and selects the script to use. Continues from there.

I'm suicide botting atm with 24/7 x 4 bots; 2 weeks, 0 bans so far.

I never got banned for autoing around 8 hours day. But as soon as I went to 9 or 10, I got flagged (and quite a few chainbans). That's on one account 1.
This also confirms smartzkid findings, as 24/7x4 = 6 hours a day, with one account stuck in a random that also keeps you at 8.

8 hours w/ breaks is my choice of poison.
