I'll Start.. Not me, 2, I have been banned, Not yet… I think, Yupp, Nupp.

I don't know if the last question is possible, but a couple of years ago, I do recall a thread that mentioned a guy getting his account back after 3 years.

I've had about 20 chars banned. Never ever have I had any offences except from macroing.

Many banned (20+), I managed to get one back (my main) but is banned again now.

Is it safe to say that getting banned is less likely with MSI

And another thing.. If we get banned, doesn't jagex have our i.p. saved and are to arrogant to keep that i.p. under surveillance, and if so… should i delete this comment so that they won't get ideas :P



P.S. Markus, how long was it before you got your banned account back?

Lol, they don't mention how many accounts they have had though. I'm sure they both have/had 100 or more. Myself about 60 with only 3 banned.

i have only had 2 accounts banned. one because i botted almost 24/7 on it with RSBot, and another i leveled WC with SRL but used ""Yak Attack" from RSBot, and i botted from 70-90 str in about a week, and it got banned, its just RSBot is so detectable.

Hell i botted more with SRL than RSBot and i never got stuck in one random and never got a ban due to SRL

in 3 years no bans. We survived all massbans, mainly because of SRL and our army philosophy… (no players more than 30 minutes, responding to legits and keeping track of the chats)…until Jagex decided to stop us and manually banned all my chars by linking the IP from this board to the IP of my Players (40+)….on my birthday! So we lost them all 2 years ago, but hey, I dont blame them. I would have done the same :)

We found a couple of solutions bypassing our IP and managed to continue botting. I botted several skillcapes afterwards.

Individual players, or within an army?

I have lost 10+ players but ALL of those have been botted to test how long they can go before getting a ban.

1 good character banned because I let him run a little too long some times (I don't think people stay awake for 72+ hrs normally :P)

The current 1 character that I am using has 3 skills capes and has yet to be banned, I am autoing on him carefully and reasonably.

How do you know it was RSBot? I've been using it for about a month almost constantly (ie. 24/7), and it hasn't gotten me banned yet. Obviously I'm asking for a ban, but yeah. 62-97 and a half fishing in under a month at Karamja.

I got 3 banned due to botting. First two was because of trading autoed goods to my main accounts and the last was from alching almost 6 hours a day with SRL. THat was when I did not know much about botting. I created a new account and now I got two 99s from SRL! Working on the third 99…

Got my main banned around 06-07 then got it back in 09 or 08. Whenever that mass Unban wave hit.

I personally think Jagex doesn't give a damn anymore, as I'm semi-suiciding. F2P is so full of autoers it actually discourages me from doing anything like mining because it's downright impossible to compete in the market.


I swear if Jagex detects byte injection and bans the thousands and thousands of accounts that are autoing, I'm going on and buying 10 million iron ore. The price will skyrocket.

EDIT: I did get a warning like 8 years ago for swearing at a mod.

Well if you don't do stupid things, you don't get banned. If you mine 12 hours a day on an account at iron for weeks straight, yes then you get banned ;)
All accounts I botted on with care didn't get banned, except for the manual permanent ban my first main got like wtf.
Oh and that was a few months, between easter and halloween event (I got banned right after easter and had it back a week before the halloween event). They banned him again a year later.

Only had a 10 day warning ban (on my main - was for macroing using SRL (actually my own script which was a noob generic fighter and I ran it for loong times without multi players or breaking or anything - got me from ~60 to 72 strength though! :)))

because i botted maybe about 12 hours a day with the yew cutter, made about 12m and 95-ish woodcutting, played legit for about 4 months (did all the RFD quests, leveled up legitimately) then said fuck it and botted strength because i really wanted to get it up, but hated training strength.
