error starting smart, applet does not have a specified target bla bla bla I'm sure you know the error i'm talking about
Yes i know this been posted before, and yes I did search. But I honestly did everything the searched topics suggested literally evertyhing. I've reinstalled simba atleast 3 times now. I've used worlds that i know weren't offline. I've let ruenscape load to get updated. Everything that the searches suggest. All the bots work w/out smart but my cpu is always being used so that is never raelly an option. So if anyone can help me get smart working again would be awesome. i've been down for like 3 weeks now.
So any help is appreciated. Also i've posted asking for help in the other threads with no reply.i waited 2 weeks so I decided to make a new thread

You loaded Runescape in firefox/IE before trying to start a script?
Also have you checked your java install to make sure its updated/not corrupted somehow?
Yep i've loaded runescape in a browser after updates. And i'm pretty sure my java is upto date. Simba does work fine, but just not with smart. I hafta drag the crosshair to the rs page and do it that way. i'd much rather prefer smart ;)

Load runescape in a normal browser. When Runescape is loading, hold S and when you see the login screen, it should be in Safe mode (Which is what SMART needs it to be in). Now check that you have it on Fixed and SMART should work just fine.
Hey It's been a while since i was on the internets. DIdn't have it for a bit. I actually ended up finding the solution today. I've never used the client selecter when using smart ever. All i did was select runescape as a client page and it worked.
