to make it longer, and for a better grade, say they should not be allowed (regardless if you believe this or not) will get a lot more information out of it and you will stay up there longer.

From: Answers.com
omewhere between 90-180 million gallons of oil has been spilled into the Gulf of Mexico from the 2010 BP oil spill.

On June 19th, the official estimate is 35,000 to 60,000 barrels a day, though internal BP documents concede it could be as high as 100,000 barrels a day. (Between 1,500,000 to 2,500,000 gallons, as high as 3,000,000 gallons a day. 6 - 10 million liters, as high as 12 million liters a day).

Don't make a shitty boring presentation. Practice until you know your facts solid, blow their minds. Be convincing. Be solid. Be perfect. Show the class who is boss. When you know your facts inside and out, you will have little fright when you present because you will be schooling them [literally].

The Exxon Valdez spill was the 34th worst two years ago. 520 million gallons is a lot though..

omg, lol Oil Rigs not allowed in the ocean?

That means gas prices will rise, but i guess tree huggers are okay with thats since they have the little 4-banger cars.

But i guess you dont look at how Obama is planning to spend billions on East coast oil drilling when noone in the world has every drilled there.

But i guess its worth it right?

Then everyone is panicing about the oil spill? Its a natural source from the earth, sure its going to cause some "lung problems" and the birds are going to get all "sticky" but eventually it wears off. Besides, birds carry diseases, for all the workers could know there "illness" was just from the birds?

If they do close off shore drilling that means we are going to have to borrow oil from Iraq, thus spending BILLIONS of more oil just to transport it back to the US.

Those are just my 2 cents.

I live in Texas. My dad is a Oil Rig Inspector, he makes sure that before a platform leaves to the shore, that there is no leaks. My dad has never worked for BP and only has worked for:

Gulf Marine
and
Kiewiet.

Just read this as i skipped this before, seems he cancled Alaska drilling projects… wow is he literally that dumb?

Alaska holds the most oil in this country, and he want to drill in a random area off Virginia thats going to require Site Testing to even make sure there is oil there.

Seriously, when can we get a new president.

There's more to presidency than oil. It is ignorant to say Obama is doing bad because he stopped one thing relating to oil.

I guess thats why democrats have outspent republicans on pointless commercials.

Oh yes it does.

Just proves that Obama really isn't green.

He's democrat is he not?

Seems like his party sure does spend alot of money on commercials.

Cant wait till 2012 to get his sorry butt out of the white house.

All the democrats are going to go to Republican side just watch.

This is totally offtopic btw.

should make a new thread for this…

Why hold the entire industry accountable for mistakes British Petroleum makes.

^ Especially when it wasn't as big as some other oil spills.
