[Simba/SMART] IsKeyDown not responding

    if IsKeyDown(123) then
begin
writeln ('pressed');
end;

Now when I run this in simba without smart/srl/reflection, it will run perfectly if/when I'm pressing down, but as soon as I throw SMART/reflection/SRL in there, it never recognizes it. IIRC it will recognize it in smaller scripts, but I'm running a massive 4000 line script and it just doesn't seem to want to work.

Are there any script conditions that prevent lag in IsKeyDown?

Is there any way for me to have a KeyDown function that can be used in SMART? Is there a reason it's not working? I made a repeat until loop (infinite) and even then, it was just If IsKeyDown() and a wait in there, and it didn't respond.

Am I missing something? Is there any other way for me to enable the scripter to have remote access by ReadLn during the script?

Try IsKeyDown(GetKeyCode('a')) or something.

That worked :)

Though one of the problems is it seems SMART has some lag issues, where it will do nothing for a while, then all of a sudden 5 or 6 a's will appear in my textbox in game (the stuff before pressing enter). Upon that, the ReadLn will crop up 2 or 3 times

Any way around that?

I have no idea. It's been a problem for ages. :/ Sorry.
