Promising Newcomer Yes.

Junior Member Not quite yet.

Does it bug anyone else to see so many people these days with a promising newcomer cup that still haven't really done anything of importance?

I would vote Jr. Member before Promising Newcomer but I would still like to see more from him first.

I feel we sort of "jump the gun" with a lot of people the past few months, then they just fade out after they get their cup.

Exactly my feelings.

Truly there are some people that should have had their promising newcomer removed already. Due to the fact that they have past the 2 year window. The old timer's replaces the promising newcomer as I understand it.
