You have been added to the MSI Scripting Leaders section.
Coh3n runs the scene nowadays, I pop in every now and then.
The idea we have in mind for you is to get magic going, meaning an alcher script, a teleporter, superheater, basic magic training.
Maybe a magic fighter ;)
You'll have access to the svn. PM Wizzup your desired username and password, and he'll take care of it.
Remember the conditions that I pmed you ;) Those are for quality control, as MSI aims to have the reputation of being a great script. (Or a fucking amazing one, but I didn't want to get too cocky.).
Welcome,
~RM

Congrats! :)
Either of you mind posting exactly what the conditions were, just for reference?

Don't commit anything unrelated to magic without posting, and make sure everything matches MSI Standards.
And also always compile and test before committing.
Compiling and testing pretty much ensures that nothing broke.

I hope I'll wake up sober tomorrow morning..

Sweet, thanks. I'll get to work on magic again asap.
Also, quick rundown on how to commit using the terminal?

I highly suggest using TortoiseSVN. I've used both and TortoiseSVN is a million times easier.

Well, i'm using ubuntu. Because windows is…. windows. I shouldn't need to elaborate on that. On a more important note than winblows, is I finally got back from a tournament, and can probably begin work on some stuff soon ish, assuming i'm not tired as hell tomorrow.

The cli interface is much easier than the GUI once you get used to it. :)

I *much* prefer using svn through the cli, same with git. But thats preference I think.
Anyways, congratz, how is this going so far? :)

It's not a matter of preference. Cli is just much more efficient and faster. Also, you can use git for svn. I do it all the time. ;)

Yeah I didn't realize he was using Ubuntu when I posted that.
