Raymond (1):
Getting the ScriptManager somewhere!

In short:

  • Two brand new extensions. The paster extension and the CRov (Recovery) extension! Great work DgBy714 and Nielsie95. :)
  • Bug fixes. See above for detailed list.
  • Better settings.xml handling. It will now recreate settings.xml if the old one contains errors. (And backup it, if possible). If it cannot read, write or create the file, Simba will still start, but a bug-free experience is not guaranteed. (This is no different from before, except Simba will not "crash" if the settings.xml is corrupt/unreadable)
  • Several new functions: GetClientPosition, rs_GetUpTextAtEx and several extra functions for extensions.
  • Improved library loading by moparisthebest.
  • A lot of documentation! Check it out

Planned for the next minor release:
  • User friendly settings form.
  • Probably more bug fixes and (minor) features.
  • A look at the Uptext filtering/OCR.
  • More Client/Target functions and documentation.

Planned for the next major release:
  • Script Manager.

After updating to the latest version, I now get an error when trying to run any script.

[Error] C:\Program Files (x86)\Simba\Includes\reflection\/Core/Antirandoms\Antirandoms.simba(96:20): Unknown identifier 'r_InForester' at line 95

Edit: I just realized that this might have something to do with Reflection instead, but to be honest I'm not quite sure.

** I am stoked! Can't wait to get this running and see all of the effort that has been put into it! As always, this truly amazes me, Thanks!

Yep, that's probably reflection related.

@Anonymity: welcome. :)

Tested the extensions before the release they work and are awesome. The pastor.sex will be super helpful for Classes. Crov has already saved me having to redo a few hours worth of work. I suggest that you edit the Time in the Crov.sex just to be safe. Also a suggestion for pastor is to try and get it to be able to paste selected text so that whole script aren't being posted.

Hey im getting the Smart error about the applet decleration still. I opened runescape up in a different browser but nothing still happens(someone told me to do that). I also did search and it said that the world i might be using is offline. the smelter script i use doesn't have a world chooser function, but I tested another script trying various amounts of worlds but i still get the same error. I have all lates updates for simba. So if anyone can help that'd be nice, its been doing this for a week now.

Was the text changed? I feel like the comments aren't as blue (which I like), and I can hardly tell the difference between bold and non-bold words.

Possibly http://git.villavu.com/?p=simba.git;a=commit;h=70a73907206f77d300b92629cfeb2d2ab4c3bb48 and http://bugs.villavu.com/view.php?id=262 ?

We can make a setting for this.

And how would I go about creating a new setting? Or is that something at your end?

It would have to be done in Simba, then exported to the settings manager so that you, the user, can change it. :)

So the font type could be changed? I don't really want to change it, I just want to bold words to be bolder. :p

You could at least include my builds for the architectures you don't build for yet! (both linux architectures and x64 windows) ;) (as a download somewhere on your site I mean, so linux users could test the stable release)

Yay! I'll build the commits tagged stable and place them in a stable folder eventually, then people can choose stable or 'nightly'.
