Default SMART world?

Perhaps we can make SRL default to a specific world rather than a random world? This takes care of both the "smart reloading every time a script starts" and the "applet does not have a declaration" error. I don't think it's that detectable if a certain world is default?

Or: SRL can remember the loaded world. The random algorithm gets fixed so it doesn't load invalid worlds.

With the worldswitcher being fully compatible with the menu now, I think it would be possible to have it load a good world, and then even at the beginning switch to a specified world. That'd probably need a bunch of re-writing though for the main code, so I don't know how fast one would want to implement that idea (if ever)

But the cool thing is people after logging in can just ChangeWorld (#); IIRC since the worldswitcher.scar is working good now :)

That?

mmm if I remember correctly, if world 1 is full or offline it'll return declaration error.

Like that, I guess. But perhaps a different (less populated?) world.

E: Perhaps SMART can store the current world. So you can do if GetSmartWorld <> -1 then Smart_Server := GetSmartWorld.

World load out makes no difference though?

Then load a different not so full world (13 or 7)

I've only seen that error when trying to connect to one of the worlds which is currently being moved(Server wise)..

Could be wrong, just throwing it out there.. :)

For me, it always loads the 'normal' world (~167 in my case, which is the Norwegian world)

Okay, first of all..

Server != world.

What if we could set it up to take the country of origin then find the best world available?

The unsigned world list still exists does it not?

I do not think it's wise to have a default world. If possible, it should grab the world list, pick something online and local and not full, then somehow "store" it, so it won't reload when the script is restarted. If that is even possible … :/

It would be easier to store it in SMART itself, I'd say.

Is there no way to read a servers population without loading the server list and using read functions?

Then pick randomly between the bottom 50-30% of member's or Non-members server.

Tough to find (if Jagex do look at the bans per server), servers that aren't packed…
