How to get hooks for reflection

HyperSecret showed me that rs-hacking.com has hooks pretty fast:

How do they get them? And how do people get hooks for reflection?

If there was some way a program could output all the hooks, someone [possibly myself] could make a simba script using string manipulation to find the hooks we want, and output them in a reflection-usable fashion.

Of course I don't know quite how to get them, or where to get them, or how to "take" them… so how does one go about it?
I'd just like to know so in case I ever get stranded on an island with a computer and internet… and everyone here died… I can update my reflection XD

The programs they use are called 'updaters' and a lot of SRL Members has one / has made one themselfes

You need good knowledge of Java to build one.

If they have them, do they all work? is there a way to get one? does it need to be maintained at all? I know java, but not nearly enough to code my own

All I need is something that will give me a list of hooks that I can plug into my own program to cut away text that I dont need ;)

Updaters themselves usually work fine. The thing is, every hook that the updater finds uses patterns to find the value(in one way or another), thus the patterns that they use to find the hook sometimes breaks because of a runescape update. So, yes, you have to maintain a updater.

Just manually use the RSHacking hooks, save them to a text file every update and have your parser go through them and make it into reflections format.

That would work except freddy hardly ever maintains his updater and some of his hooks are wrong.
