I understand Inferfaces, and currently I have a pretty crude method of finding interface IDs, however I don't know how to get child interfaces IDs. Do I need to go hunting around Powerbot/RsBots's website?

RSBOT provides a good interface development script included by default in their bot. That's how I always get interface IDs.

I don't really remember, but I always just made a for loop that looped through every possible interface until I found one that I needed. But thats just because I was always superstitious of RSBot/Powerbot.

BadBoy, if you can hold on for 1-2 more days I will complete my guide, I understand them pretty good now

I usually do a wait until interface and through in a child for extra protection.
Then throw a timer in so if it doesn't see it in X seconds it would attempt it again…
And when did I get old timer….

I had a look at RSBot's one, because I needed it on my multi. It had parents, then childs, then in each child there were a couple of things, modelIDs, ComponentIDs, do we have those in simba?
More specifically the Component IDs, cause thats whats different between each interface.

Hooks-wise, we do. If they've been implemented yet, I have no idea.

its just that when we do get them, I can create a Leo Random solver for reflection, if you guys want it.

Well, I think interfaces are next on the todo list if GroundItems continues to work well. I'm just going to finish maintenance of my updater (which could take a while with school) before taking on any more projects.

That'd be cool, though don't take on too many randoms at once ;)
They can suck when one goes wrong. Plus looking at the RSBot randoms java folder shows you the ID's and logic they use which may help

I recon I just about got one for Sandwich lady, but she doesn't show up as a NPC (I want to say "an NPC") otherwise its pretty much done..
2 accounts and the sandwich lady was easier, and i needed him for my script making. He is still in there, and will stay there until I can figure out a way of detecting randoms, that won't break when if the character moves.

^ "an NPC" would be correct.

Random detection could be the text displayed in the chat?
And while we're on the subject interfaces, does they work fine?
As in no problem at all?

i have never had a problem with interfaces, except the fact that they are a bit limiting

I have used the interface as a detection, its just if the player moves it will close the interface, and prevent detection..
