I haven't played in a while and decided to give my level 99 over to suicide botting. My current goal is 99 fishing, and I believe I will fly fish most of the way. I'm going to aim for as many F2P 99s as I can.

Fishing:

Good luck with that. I've botted 80 fishing and it's really slow (140k feathers left and then I'm making the account member for the last levels). If you do manage to get 99 though, I suggest getting 99 cooking next if you have a couple mill to spend or 99 fm if you're poor.

That's fine - I have a 24/7 computer and an account I don't need to worry about. I can wait ^.^.

Currently level 71 fishing! 59k experience until 72. Will have that in roughly an hour and a 45 minutes or so.

For fishing, I was probably going to make it get 40 fishing and then just karamja fish lobbies until I could afford a ton of feathers.

Yeah, I got like 400k from stiles off swordies/tuna and just bought a bunch of feathers :P.

you should totally get 99 fishing, bank all the fish, then do 99 woodcutting, bank all the wood, and finally cook all the fish and get 99 cooking and firemaking

thus having them leading into eachother.

You can get 99 firemaking in like a week 24/7 with willows.

Firemaking is a useless skill, but also the cheapest to level :p

Good for total level and exp. :) I always say why not to FM. It's cheap, easy, fast.

Achieving that should be fairly easy @ the Ratz spot. Lots of Willow Bots dropping massive amounts of willow logs 24/7 :) ….and there is a nice row too where you can empty 27 logs in one run (Just above the small chapell) With [B]IsMoving [/B] it shouldnt be to difficult to light them in one smooth go. Mmm, 77 fishing, roughly 70k to 78. Pictures in a bit. Script has been running, now, for 20:08:00. I've gained 640k experience. This IS gonna be slow :P. No slower than I expected, though. 11.4 million experience left to go. That's like, what, 356 hours? Lul. So 14 days. Assuming 32k xp/h. The script normally gets 39k, but it took a shit and wouldn't log me back in after a DC for a few hours, so it lost some experience.

Half way (almost exactly) is 94, at around 7.5m exp. 99 is 13,034,311 exp I think.

78 fishing, almost 79. I am a dumbass and forgot to save the proggy - it was 22 and a half hours, 14k fish… fished. I'm running it again, but only have 10k feathers due to this stupid buy limit D:.

Pretty high levels on that account considering you're extremely likely to get it banned. I'm working on getting 99 thieving again (for my pure this time), I'll get 82 today.. Hopefully I won't get the account banned though.

I haven't played in a year, and likely won't. Jagex ruined RS for me by taking out everything I enjoyed, so yeah.

Zombiefisher should be for 1.28, I dont advise going to RSBot if it's a new experience because for someone like me who has used java and coded for it, I still found it a huge pain and massive time consume if you do anything remotely wrong the first time.

I always make sure everything in Simba is up to date. I'll give it another go sometime in the near future. I would like to give this zombiefisher a go though, it would be nice not to have to worry about randoms.

If simba has everything up to date, make sure you get the new reflection hooks.

If your error says "hooks out of date, terminating" then read my guide in the reflection subforum. If not, then maybe ask in other help areas ;)

84 fishing. 24 hour proggy coming in about 7 hours. 48.7k feathers left, going to get about 60k to level 92 with them, then stiles to 99 to make cash. Will take an insane amount of time, but I hope I can accomplish it.

2332 swordies, 2449 tuna. About 1.5 mill made for 400k experience. With 6.8 million xp left, I figure I can expect about 27 mill if this rate keeps up. Making about 20.5k xp/h, 70k profit/h. Fishing, obviously, swordies and tuna at stiles.

I did that! made my own script. Just recently found on my computer from 2007, that's what reminded me.. never submitted it i don't know why.. :/ I bought willows from the general store in lumby and light them up behind and repeated.

My friend Joe, got 99 cooking and 99 fm in back to back weeks by botting and didn't get banned, i'm to nervous to risk my account.

Also, I would say go for mining/smithing. With the money you make from fishing you'll have enough to get pretty high smithing level from doing gold bars, or just profit and make steel bars, but that would take a little longer.

Go mining after fishing, then level woodcutting.

Then get combat stats up.

Then sell the account :)

93 fishing, 51 hour straight progress report. RSBot got hit by Mordaut and failed, so it logged out for about 4 hours before I was able to log back in and solve it, so it's more like 47 hours of straight fishing, basically.

Unfortunately, RSBot v2.0.1 broke Aion's Karamja Fisher, so I am now using Godless Fisher. I'm at 13 hours run so far, with 416k experience to level 94. 9300 swordies, 10k tuna.

Damn Mordaut isn't even solved by RSBot? Crap… fixing that for reflection is going to suck then

Aion's fisher is now back up and running with RSBot. I personally use Godless fisher, @ 81 fishing right now, not suiciding though.

All over, but from 60-99 I leveled it with Harry's Cave Fighter :P.

I sold my main account - which had nowhere near the same stats/cash as yours - and looking back, i really regret it. Even if you don't think you want to play anymore, you should hold onto the account, even if it's just for the nostalgia. Don't do it.

97 fishing, had roughly 970k to 98 this morning. I fixed the problem with the bot, I can now run it 24/7 again (was the stupid random timeout thing).

So how long did that take in total to get this far? 2 weeks x 12 hours a day (or 24?) Was it with RSBot? RSBot screwed up 2 randoms for me so I sort of lost trust in them. They were easy randoms too.

66-98 in just under a month, completely with RSBot, 24/7 as long as I could, but sometimes I couldn't. RSBot had a problem with their integers that caused it to timeout on the randoms quickly - they assumed it was in seconds, it was milliseconds.

RSBot is the best.

Total I've made…. Uhhh, 8-10m + full zamorak/guthix? I think. Roughly. Yes, I'm at Karamja, have been since roughly level 91.

I guess this project more or less is evidence against "Jagex automatically scanning everyone who gets a 90+ skill as an autoer".

It would be furthermore interesting to see how they treat you when [or if, probably when] you get 99.

Sandstorm: Doing 99 mining on a different account?
If you're going to power mine iron (as TomTuff said), I highly recommend finding those abandoned iron rocks and power mining those. Probably will risk a ban in F2P, but in P2P there are tons of rocks that no one goes to.

With reflection now, I'd even be able to script you a solid powerminer w/ antiban AND the ability for the script to log out/change worlds when a human is detected to prevent a ban. Plus with reflection randoms almost being completed… might be feasible.
Of course my idea above is theoretical, assuming you wanted it and I even found time to do so xD

Yeah, I threw a coal powerminer (somebodies WorldMiner) on Lumbridge coal last night, woke up to 61 mining and ran to the mining guild and turned it back on.

I prefer RSBot because it's less resource intensive (uber slow computer is… uber slow), but if I ever get a better one I'll look into that!

Had 26m gold after I sold all my stuff (had full zammy/guthix for some reason), all from fishing :).

Id have it spread out, but then again if you dont get caught, having an all in one super character is better.

Yes, it's the same account. As I've said before, I don't play RS anymore (except to brag about my 26m and 99 fishing! ^.^), so it doesn't matter to me whether I get banned or not. Beyond that, my friend has a level 124 I can use at any time (150m > 26m tbh), so yeah, if I ever DID want to play, I wouldn't even use this account.

Edit: As a side note, last night I met some guy and he made me add him to my friend's list (meh, I don't care), then told me that if he was online and didn't reply to me talking, don't worry about it. I asked if this meant what I thought it did. He said yes. L O L. He also gave me the password to a 99 strength 99 hunter uber-pker. Lul.

Do people go to that spot? I was always worried that a human would come along and rage that a person is powermining there.

One place I autoed one of my accounts was slightly south of the picatoris (sp?) mining colony. There's rocks perfectly set up like this:

Anyway, starting this back up (I hope). Running Brian's WorldWideMiner at the Mining Guild on a p2p world, 11.2k xp/h and about 71% to 77 mining. 2k coal in 9 hours :P.

At 11.2k xp/h, that will take roughly 1125 hours total. Or 46-47 days of straight autoing.

Also, if my math is right, and I do straight coal to level 99, I will mine roughly 240k more coal xD.

(2k coal = 105k exp, roughly, 12.6m left divided by 105k exp = 120, 2k * 120 = 240k)

Ok, I lied! 11.6m exp to go to 99, too lazy to redo all my math, rofl.

About 50% to 79 mining, 220k exp gained and 4.4k coal mined, 30 minutes until I get a 24 hour proggy with this guild miner!

100k exp to 81 mining, I stopped it for a few days because of problems with their randoms (which I should now have fixed), as well as their autologin not working (though it's probably my fault). I have about 13k coal :D.

13k coal is like… 2.5m or so, if I remember the numbers correctly from my proggies.

right now (based on memory) coal is 270 each.
so 13k coal is… (thinks in head) about 3.5 mil??

Which would give 96552 steel bars –> ~19311 steel plates (23 mil if 1.2k each for alch, not including nature price, 19311*~200 = 3.8622 mil :( …)

19311 steel bars and all those platebodies would be equivalent to 96552 * 50 exp/bar total = 4.8276 mil exp, which means you'd be at lvl 89-90 smithing.

lvl 80 is about 2 mil exp… each coal is 50 exp, so 11,000,000/50= 220,000 coal +13,000 = 233,000 coal total = about 63 mil :)

odd, here's how i did it (assuming level 80 = ~2m exp, level 99 = ~13m exp)

2,000,000/13,000,000 = 3,500,000/x
2,000,000x = 45,500,000,000,000
x = 45,500,000,000,000/2,000,000 = 22,750,000

19310 * 265 (cost of nats) = 5117150 investment
19310 * 1200 (how much you get per alch) = 23,172,000 gp returned
23,172,000 - 5117150 = 18,054,850 profit

Start at 90 for rune Scims. 16.3 * 2 = 32.6k. Rune Scim sells for 30k most the time. at a loss of ~3k per rune scim, from 90 to 96 is 35642 rune scims, 35642 * 3k = 106926k loss
97 to 99 with rune kites (3 bars = 48.9k, Rune kite = ~46k, loss of ~3k per) is 10409 rune kites, 10409 * 3k = 31227k loss.
31227k + 106926k = 138153k loss.
Plausible? no.

90 seems like the best, rune plates look like you don't make too much money at a first glance, though I'm sure the numbers probably add up. Just 5 bars costs 14*5 = 70k.
If they sell for 75k or anythign like that, you can make 25k in no time at all. Not too bad?

Smithing seems almost useless to get to rune levels now :(

Yep, smelting iron ore + smithing iron bars is most efficient money-wise, provided you have level 45 or more for 80% smelt chance. I did a lot of calculations, basically actually smithing bars into items is NEVER profitable, only smelting ores into steel or greater bars is profitable if you buy everything. Profit is only ~200gp per bar, regardless of the actual bar at current GE ore prices so steel is most efficient for money. But basically, smithing doesn't really gain you much money.

Though I find buying iron ore + coal and smelting steel bars makes faster money than mining iron or coal. Not sure about other skills/ores. If you're curious, it's about (a steady) 90k per hour smelting steel with an AK smelter vs between ~60-100k or less (depending on whether there is nobody else around or not) mining iron. Coal is much slower in both exp and money at my level (79 atm).

Other numbers:

These numbers include selling or high-alching (whichever is better)
the most profitable F2P item you can make with each respective bar.
EXP per second assumes smithing at varrock west anvil/bank
and smelting at Al-Kharid.

EXP/s (5) = EXP gained per second smithing platebodies
EXP/s (1) = EXP gained per second smithing 1 bar items
(EXP/Hour) / (GP/EXP) = Ratio of EXP per hour smithing platebodies to GP cost per EXP.

Right now I'm mining iron with MSI to get to 85 mining anyway so I'll probably smith the 40k or so I get.
