I searched the whole scripts topic but I din't find a Grey/Red chinchompa hunter. I found 1 but it was outdated. Can someone make a Grey/Red chinchompa hunter please?

Shuttleu was working on a redchin/greychin script but there was a memory leak in smart. I don't know if Shut is planning on trying to find a loophole or not, but I know shut is very busy.

As far as I know, a couple other people are working on one too. It will probably be a while though.

Tbh even if we someone did make one, it would not out compete Powerbots hunters due to the little amount of methods we have here compared to Powerbot.

The big challenge with chin hunters is twofold:
1. "how not to be seen (Monty Python)". Chin spots are rare and there are usually one or two high level hunters around. They instantly spot a bot and besides reporting you, immediately start confusing and annoying you. Not good!
2. Keeping track of four boxes is pretty hard. It requires either great skills of the scripter or reflection making things easier.

We tried, but failed in retrieving the boxes 100%. Moreover, we only macroed when noone was around. But many hunters worldhop, thus forcing you quickly retrieve the boxes, log out and find a new world.

I personally found first bidtrapping and then falconeering much easier to handle and macroed several players well above 80.

I think that salamander hunting might be worth trying to get you to 99, especially because if your range level is high enough, you can use the sallies to kill the monks that wander around those spots.

Keeping track of four boxes seems easy enough to me. :) Just check them in the way you set them down (I'm thinking reflection here).

I definitely agree about falconeering or sally hunting would be better to auto, but people who want red/grey chin hunters do it for the cash, not the level.

I made a bird and falconry script with reflection, messed with Fall traps too. But as Fawk said limited space and high chance of getting reported with chins.

Using 4 traps would be ideal, thing is they are considered ground objects when placed on ground. For some reason our ground item detection has a memory leak of sorts so it completely bogs down the cpu after about 1 hour or less depending on the speed of your computer. I'd probably have a script for it in reflection if it worked. QQ

I am a high level hunter and when ever i hunt grays or reds i always get asked if I'm a bot. I assume powerbot has a chin bot out.

What you dont get tho is its a high ban rate with lots of people and would take alot of time to make for maybe somthing that wont work /// powerbot aint workin anymore.
