Looking through some of the MSI stuff, i think i could take on (or at least start and let someone finish/refine) writing an include, and personally i think the next include for MSI should be combat!

Until object handling is done, the only scripts i can think of would be things like autofighters or al kharid warriors, but after OH is done the possibilities are limitless.

Ideas for functions:
procedure WaitWhileInFight;
function InFight: boolean;
function attack: boolean;
function MSI_AttackUntilNoFood: boolean;

all i can think of off the top of my head.

E: someone changed topic title …? lol?

Would take a lot of work to make, and even more, because it has to be made compatible with MSI's system.

Would also require a shitton of TItems, which, unless you got several people super-duper determined to help you, you would probably be making them on your own.

However, it would be great to have. I just think another skiller… skill would be good.

I think that the combat is indeed one of the most important skills that MSI doesn't cover.
Especially if it handles things like gear changing.

First off, let's not worry about getting EVERY type of armour/weapons. I think it would be better to start with the most commonly used (scimitars + armour). There wouldn't need to many object records made (only those of the monsters you want to fight). Here's what I can think of (including your list).
  • MSI_WaitWhileFighting (would use SRL's InFight)
  • MSI_Attack
  • MSI_PickUpItem (would probably go in Skills.simba)
  • MSI_EatFood
  • MSI_FightNoFood
I honestly don't think it would be that much work. After all, MSI has basically everything already written. Tom, if you want to get started you can take a look at other skill functions to see how to find and click objects/items using MSI's object/item functions.

How about resting if no food. Detecting if other players are nearby the NPC you plan on trying to fight. I'll add anything else I can think of later.

I like the idea. Sounds like it would be difficult though.
