Been a long time, picked up scripting again, made a framework, but every time I restart my script, SMART also restarts.

whats the trick these days of keeping the same SMART open while programming ans testing?

This is most likely caused by your script picking a random world to load between each run, thus forcing SMART to reload another world.

I think SRL has a variable called "SmartWorld" or similar. That will enforce a specific world.
E: It's Smart_Server;

SRL.scar:  Smart_Server := 0;
SRL.scar: Smart_Members := false;
SRL.scar: Smart_Signed := True;
SRL.scar: Smart_SuperDetail := false;

Set those before calling SetupSRL;

Also every time you close smart, something in the jvm isn't freed (deliberately i think) so the more you reopen smart the slower it will operate, until you restart simba. Although I'm sure you have already had this experience.
