ok so i found this amazing piece of software… download it, install it, run it, open a scar script, switch language to pascal… POOF you can expand and collapse your procedures. which i think is AMAZING. it really helps to keep your code straight when you only have to pour your brains on a few of the vital procedures instead of miles of endless script.

Just thought i would share this with you. TONS of languages supported. Hope you like!

Its a very nice-basic feature installed in many text/code editors… I posted in the scar 3.0 thread about it recently, take a look and support it !

If you ever get lost in your code, it's probably because you're neglecting to comment it. :p

I see lines and lines of code of some good scripts but they get really buggy because the coder eventually forgets what the coder did and gets lost in their code and has a hard time trying to fix. Always always comment your code.

No, not about SCAR. Freddy just seems to have something against anything being open source…

I love open source. Problems are found so easily. Look at Firefox. Perfect example of open source. It's gaining popularity every day, and it only came out about 2 years ago. Many firefox lovers that know how to program in C (or C++, I forget which) have tried their best to sort of give back.

It's a shame, we can't do the same. :( (Except to find bugs and then bug freddy about them lol)

Give me an example of a simple function of yours Ron, I would really love to see how you comment your code, because I do occasionally get lost in my code :)

Avaphi, look at my Stats Grabber and look at my DFM Parser. Those scripts were a pain in the ass to make. And they are FILLED with comments describing it to the bone. When I take a break from a project for lets say a month, and I look at the code, it looks like gibberish to me until I read some of the comments.
