Hey,

just felt like finding how people like to script, the type of environment they like to work in.

I personally just like to load up Spotify and play some music, also helps having a nice cold Relentless (energy drink).

so how do you guys like to script?

Mmmmm Coke. Quiet or Light Music(Loud Music for everyone else…. Just found out my hearing has deteriorated to the point that they are going to give my a hearing aid to use whenever I feel the need… Not required to wear it yet. Dang, I'm only 25 :( ). I have got to have cigarettes on hand I smoke a lot more when I'm Scripting. Minimal lighting like sunny outside but having the curtain drawn.

This probably should have been put into the NOTA Forum.

Yeah, but I'm gonna get one of those old horns the old dudes in movies use. Whenever A Computer User comes into my office with a stupid question. I'm gonna pull it out and pretend I can't hear them. :p

E: Too many explosions and too much gunfire. I hear a ringing in my left ear periodically.

Chewing gum, cigarette, diet / zero coke, music or movie.

Quiet soulful house music, coffee, and perhaps a sleeve of arrowroot cookies.

Sometimes a beer :p

oh, and in full natural light during the day, otherwise a small desk lamp. I tend to handwrite lots of notes when I code.

I usually have some type of music playing that is about it. I also sometimes have a beer if I get frustrated with something. (I'm 21)

Night is time time when you're the most creative!
with coffee, and a must have pack of cigs

Depends. Music is usually nice, but I feel I can concentrate better without music. But my concentration doesn't last that long. I usually just need to be in the mood, I guess. Too bad so often you don't have the chance to be in the mood… A lot of my coding is homework related.

I'm jealous. Only time I get to code now is for personal projects. My coding otherwise is quite limited

sometimes when I code and listen to music i often type with the beat, just for fun, alot of spelling errors though but you just hit backspace lol. Hardstyle and psychedelic

I can assure you coding when you don't feel like coding is not fun… ;)

I guess, but I would rather be doing that then some of the circuit analysis stuff that I do. :p

I am super music neutral. Sometimes I play oldies rock, sometimes I play metal, sometimes I play classical music. I usually either play music or have a movie/tvshow minimized and playing in the background (if I had already seen it, I know what is going on). To me, I usually have to have headphones on. Even if I am not playing anything. I guess it is just a sound canceling method that also helps ward off stupid questions.

I don't get much time to script. I have too much math, physics, and C homework. And yea, coding when you don't want to is not nearly as fun and it is harder to concentrate.
