As I was trying to advance my 'scripting Carer' (which is going verly slowly for this Old Dog I have to say)..I headed over to our local Handy Dandy tutorials section….after sifting through many many tuorials that actually didn't have any thing whatsover to do with what I was actualy looking for….I became pretty frusterated with this for a few different reasons….I posted my concerns in the thread itself, but for fear the gigantic flame war I anticipate to follow, I decided to make this Post here, for people to be able to express themselves with their opions as well…….

um, I don't get it…How do you enter the Scar Script into the Candy Machine?

This is called sarcasm, it is a form of humor…my point is….this forum is about Scar scripting…when i come to the tutorial section, I expect to be able to be enlightened with tutorials that actualy pertain to the nature of what I am actualy here for….Instead I am forced to sift through pages and pages of useless posts like these….If the majority of people here wanted to make bombs, steal candy and soda, we would just google it and find the information directly for ourselves, as it appears no one posting these 'tutorials" are the original authors…….


Also, It doesn't appear that anyone posting these "tutorials' has taken the time to think of the negative impact they are placeing on this comunity…..Everyone that struggled to make this comunity as great as it is, is being jeoperdized by suggesting we all participate in ILLEGAL,UNMORAL and DIVIENT acctivities….While useing a Scar script to to facalitate the game play of RS is considered cheating….it WILL NOT get you areested…this kind of activity WILL…..

With all this talk of giveing each other "reputation", it's pretty evident that these plagerized tutorials are being placed here in hopes of acheiving some kind of status, that your scripting ability does not allow you to do.

I realize life can't always be just about cheating , and as a comunity, we want to share our common interests, but I don't belive this is the correct place for it…I'm reporting this post and everyone like it, and ask that there be a new section made in the "waste of time forums" for things of this nature……
