SRL Archive - General

I don't know what it is. Maybe I'm just too picky with how things look and are laid out, but I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with everything in general. Too many bugs are getting reported, too many of the exact same questions are being asked and answered 1000 times.

I'm just starting to get very impatient. Maybe I'm not meant to work in a group because I like things done a certain way, I don't know. Not picking on you RM, this is just an example. You fixed a lot of bugs yesterday, which is awesome and I'm happy someone else other than me is making a lot of commits, but somewhere an MSI_CloseHeader got missed so my debugging has 100 '-' after a couple minutes. There was also no MSI_ before MakeBox and no header's in Track.simba.

Yes, I know, they're stupid little things that don't really matter, but that's me. That's who I am and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I am anal about everything.

Then to top it all off, I go to try to recreate a bug with the only account I have and BAM, he's sent to a random! Just frustrating and I'm tired. Just so you guys know, I'm not leaving, I'll probably still post. I just have 3 games this weekend and I want to try to forget all the MSI crap for a few days and concentrate on hockey.

I know the feeling. SRL can be quite the source of frustration for me too.

In all honesty, your work (and others) has gone far beyond my expectations! If it wasn't for MSI et al, SRL would have been a LOT less active. You have done an marvellous job. I could probably ramble on, but I won't.

Seriously. Take as long break as you want. You've done so much for MSI, so imo you can do whatever you want

Sometimes it's good to get away and just forget about thing's for a few days. Then, before you knot it, you can't wait to write some idea you just thought of.


I'll do what I can to keep thing's going while your gone.

Haha, Coh3n, my apologies to making MSI 'unpretty'. I can take care of that today :p As for the closing header I'll see if I can find it anywhere, but I was running the Miner and never had that problem? Might it be skill specific?
