How would I be able to say get the text of the interface selected above. I tried doing something like this:

Index := GetInterface(550, 2);
Writeln(GetInterfaceText(Index, 3));

but that writelns nothing. Is it possible using SMART's capabilities atm?

I'm pretty sure it is, we had interfaces ages ago with the old reflection but I think how to actually get the hook has changed

Sorry i just stated information I couldn't really help

This should work, I'm not used to how SRL works, but wouldnt you have to reflect the components in the interface first, and then get the text?

Get the child of the interface first. Then get the text of the child.

Are all of your hooks up-to-date? The current RS revision is 617.

Well I copied the hooks from the #617 thread, and also I can find other interface texts directly with GetInterfaceText (eg. writeln(GetInterfaceText(748, 8)) ).

Correct me if I'm wrong but, GetInterfaceText doesn't appear to have been programmed for components. Since it invokes GetInterface, which never uses hook_interface_GetChildren like I would expect it to.
