ok well i hae seen the videos, but i want to actually play it to see what it is like, would anyone be willing to lend me their account so i can test it to see what it is like?

Ohh dang, I just tried the singleplayer (indev?) version, this game is really sick!

I just watched that video from WeeGordon, for some reason the game crashes as its loading. Says Java has quit working but it works fine for everything else.

I like the videos because of the cool commentaries but I really can't see what so good about this game 0.0

it's all about the adventuring into caves and finding baby zombies on fire, whilist fighting off giant exploading penises and zombies that want to rape you, as well as building a huge house to keep you safe during the night.

:) I know, I have the game (not bought of course) on my PC but it's not as addictive as other games I play.

This game is actually one of the most addicting things I have played in a while. Spent hours building a canal system.

So when survival multiplayer comes out a bunch of us SRLers need to get together and build a giant pyramid/castle/rapture with locking mechanisms, traps, cactus and mob-loot delivery canals (with redstone light delivery notifications), minecarts, tree and wheat farms, the works.

Singleplayer is still free with a bit of a hack..

you can put that in a launcher, and extract /net/minecraft/favicon.png from the jar for the icon.

Play offline is greyed out :(.

You have to have played it one time with it connected to the internet to be able to play offline mode… So you need to find a way to get all the Minecraft files before you can play it.

you have to hold down the left mouse button until it breaks, it will punch automaticly

fun ways are iron doors. have the only input on the outside, so if you enter the door your stuck unil someone on the outside opens it, although this only works if the trapped person doesnt have building privleges

Ohhh! So the server admins are allowed to grant/revoke building privs? Can they set limited building privileges? IE no destroying or only X, Y, Z blocks?

As far as server load goes, it should be fine. I don't know how efficient the minecraft server is, but I've hosted 10 person COD4 games and it held up without any trouble.

Take a look at the Minecraft Forums too. They have some good mods, including a more advanced Admin mod.

Definitely! If it doesn't work out, I can hold it up on my desktop PC for a couple weeks until we transition to a different server.

The new world is better now anyway, the old one was a silly snow world with not much on it besides Boreas' huge house

Can those be installed? The first one makes it never night(Or night is only like 2 minutes). The second one adds a lot of features.

I also would trust normal people with more commands, like pretty much anyting but kick ban restart make admin and the such.
